I sold a brand new wig to a buyer on EBay and it was delivered yesterday. Today I got a notification that she wanted to return - despite my listings saying no returns - because it wasn’t the item I listed.

I posted photos from the manufacturer since it was new AND I posted photos of the PHYSICAL wig. I posted several. The sides, ends, front, roots, every single angle.

And that’s what I explained to the buyer. She then admittedly said she didn’t look at all the photos and that the manufacturer photo being there is deceptive.

All of the pictures were there, but she only looked at one and purchased it immediately.

She refuses to cancel her return request even after admitting she was wrong. She sent a picture of what she got and obviously it’s the same wig which I advised her of. Except now it looks like a wadded ragged up mess. I don’t know what she’s done to it. Not sure if she tried doing something and messed up so now she wants to return it.

What can I do as a seller to protect myself? I don’t want a damaged item back and she isn’t responding. She won’t cancel. I don’t want to lose the funds.

I have a friend who is currently transitioning into buying a home, but is currently staying with one of her friends.

She rents out the basement/downstairs unit of their house and she works from home. The router is kind of in a sticky spot and she needs her computer to be hooked to Ethernet required by her employer.

There are no Ethernet ports near her or in her “unit” and her friend currently has Xfinity.

We were talking and wondered if she could just get her own separate service at the same address, in her own name, paying her own bill, etc. or if that’s going to cause issues because of the existing service at the same address?

We’ve tried extenders, mesh, there’s no internet “wiring” and they don’t want to install something permanent or make any kind of holes etc. to have internet ran as it’s going to be temporary. But we also don’t want them to shut off her friends service because there’s another account with the same address.

I have a question about new budget/amended plans during a chapter 13. Each year I’ve had to go through and create a new budget based on our income. The reason being - my work hours drastically change and I have a ton of medical conditions and a disability that affects how much I CAN work. Unfortunately it wasn’t enough to qualify me for a chapter 7 because of other factors.

My surplus before (what my payment is) was $850 a month. NOW after doing the new budget required by the trustees, my surplus is NEGATIVE -$45.

I’ve been struggling to make the payment the last couple months because my health and medical expenses have gone up resulting in missed work and missed income. I made the payment because, well, I have an agreement and I’m committed to the process. I just had to cut out on groceries and things like that to get by..i haven’t went anywhere, cut out on funds, or spent an extra dime in literally 2 months. I had to dip into my savings once or twice but it was a very small amount.

What do they do in situations like this? Will they make an attempt to convert me? Lower the percentage I’m paying my unsecured creditors?

I want to succeed in my bankruptcy, but I’m not sure how this goes from here.
