Porch Cat Cam
Several weeks ago (on a late weekend night) I was sitting on the couch with the door open to the screen door so my adventure cat could watch, sniff, and hear the outside through the screen. He started making some unusual vocalizations. I walked over and saw a kitten on my back porch. It was unsure and casually left the porch. I went to my kitchen, found a small and shallow plastic container, filled it with cat food (I have 2), and put it out on he back porch. It was half eaten by morning.
Did the same the next evening. Half eaten. The third night it was all gone by morning. I assumed it was the cat the first two nights and now I have an additional visitor. Being curious, I ordered a cheap trail cam. Since it needs 8 AA batteries and battery life has mixed reviews, I also got a package of 16 AA rechargeable batteries with the power bank to charge them all at once via USB.
This is just one video of many (I keep about 4-6 per day out of a dozen+). I think this might be the cat that got me started in this but not 100% sure. It's one of the few daylight videos I've gotten. Most are night-vision.
There is also a raccoon that steals their food and one possum encounter. There are at least four cats visiting. Most common is a bruiser with mange on its hind quarters.
I would love to dump all of these videos somewhere because I know there are people who will enjoy it. But I don't feel like this is the right place for that. Feel free to point me in that direction.
