Use Case: Gaming! Nothing basically try all games.

And Simulation software like Ansys.

So I am a first year at an NIT(Indian Engineering College), I currently have a macbook air m4. I admit it was a hasty decision but I wasn't sure about my branch.

But now in the second year which is about to commence after this summer break.

I am confused between legion, omen or strix. Preferably going for 5060 but can't decide.

Probably gonna buy after a month so an ample amount of time is there.

Budget is not an issue but it doesnot mean I am going all in. Rather the laptop should be worth every penny. Under 2 lakhs most probably under 1.9 would do. Should last 5 years.

It is based on pure opinion so please.

It may be just one room or the ground floor effect I don't know but c-block is hella depressing.

And so congested room.

Didn't get to see the B block but is there any way to A or B.

I got to know that GDB is closest that's the only pro to its side but SD is way better in terms of facilities but far. These are not my words but GD's residents.

So I was pretty worried.

Please is there any way to get A or B?

I really hoped to stay at GD but I think so called perfect or even good hostels does not exist.

1st year ended and the biggest dilemma now is which hostel is best.

I had visited DBA once but the cleanliness of corridor is like shit.

It would be really helpful if anyone could just write the pros and cons of all hostels.

You can also mention which block is the best too and reasons for it.

Priorities are better environment in terms of colleagues, hygiene and cleanliness.
