My morning coffee routine with Oatly.

Started buying Oatly Barista Edition because I was trying to cut back on dairy, but I honestly didn’t expect it to work this well in coffee at home. Most oat milks I tried either separated in hot coffee or made everything taste weirdly sweet.

Now I use Oatly almost every morning with my moka pot setup before work, and it actually froths decently with a cheap handheld frother. Not saying it’s identical to regular milk, but it’s the first alternative that didn’t make me miss my usual latte routine.

Anyone else realize how much temperature was messing with their sleep before trying Eight Sleep?

I work long hours and usually crash pretty late, but I kept waking up around 3 am overheated even with the AC running. I finally gave Eight Sleep a shot a couple months ago after seeing people talk about the cooling feature, and I honestly didn’t expect it to make this much of a difference.

The weirdest part is I’m actually sleeping through the night now instead of constantly flipping the pillow over. The sleep tracking is interesting too, although I still think I pay way too much attention to the scores some mornings.

Curious if other people noticed it helping more with staying asleep vs actually falling asleep?

Been job hunting for about four months now and honestly it was demoralizing. I'd apply to 10–20 positions a week and just hear nothing back.

A coworker suggested I run my cover letters through Grammarly before sending them. I'd always thought my writing was decent enough, but I gave it a shot. Turns out I was using a lot of really wordy, awkward phrasing without realizing it — stuff like "due to the fact that" instead of just "because," and sentences that rambled on way longer than they needed to. The tone suggestions were eye-opening too. Apparently some of my letters read as overly casual for the roles I was targeting.

I spent a weekend rewriting my main templates using the feedback as a guide, not just blindly accepting every suggestion but actually learning from the patterns it flagged. Tightened everything up, made the openings less generic.

This past week I got two interview requests — more than I'd gotten in the previous three months combined. Obviously I can't say for certain that's the only thing that changed, but the timing feels pretty connected.

Anyone else have a moment where a small tweak to how you were presenting yourself made a noticeable difference in response rates? Curious if others have found specific things that helped them break through the silence.

Been working a few late shifts this week and started grabbing a Red Bull around 7 pm just to push through the last stretch. What’s weird is that sometimes it feels like a clean boost and I can focus for hours, but other nights I feel kind of jittery and then crash way earlier than I expect.

Not sure if it’s just sleep debt building up or what I’ve eaten beforehand, but the consistency is all over the place for me. Even the same flavor doesn’t feel the same depending on the day.

Curious if anyone else has figured out a “sweet spot” timing-wise where it actually helps productivity without messing up sleep too much afterward.

Wasn't expecting much from Under Armour in the running shoe space — changed my mind a bit

Picked up the Infinite Pro a few months back mostly because they were on sale and I needed a daily trainer. Honestly went in with low expectations since I've always associated UA more with gym gear than actual running. But they've held up really well for the easy mileage days — plenty of cushion, upper breathes fine, no hot spots. They're heavier than what I'd race in but for recovery runs and long slow days they do the job. Curious if anyone's tried the Velociti Elite 3 yet — seeing some buzz around it and wondering if UA is actually becoming a legit option for race day.

Tried switching things up in my morning coffee this week and picked up Oatly on a whim. Didn’t expect much, but it actually froths pretty well and doesn’t overpower the taste like some others I’ve tried.

Only thing I’m still figuring out is which version works best for iced coffee—anyone have a favorite?
