Not a single non technical person gives a crap about the algo, the technical data , the technical features.

They care about are you solving my problem and how easy is it for them to use. So if you have been struggling in marketing...and your data suggests its not working pivot try something new. You aren't going to be in a worse position then you are now. I did this with

Seriously if you want any features and other people also want it I'll add it before launch!

Its nothing to brag about. Quite honestly feel so honored people are trusting in our app and what it will provide. The last 3 weeks I've been working on getting this to ios...honestly im struggling but enjoying the learning curve.

Here's just a few things we do for our customers

If you build recipes on our app 1- you forever get your name on the card that never goes away(unless you leave and you choose to remove your name)

Take the data with you.we structure it and make it super simple to export.

Take images of all the ingredients you have and we match it to 25k recipes

7k mixed and non mixed drinks !

Import recipes from tiktok or YouTube

Algo learns your flavors and suggestions get better over time !

Body:

Y'all. I have been screaming about this !

Speakeater is a new Android app and I just got approved for the closed beta. It does the thing every cooking app pretends to do but never actually does — you take a photo of your fridge, your pantry, your freezer, your spice rack, whatever — and the app reads it. Every label, every produce item, every jar. Pulls it all into one inventory list. Then it suggests recipes you can actually make right now, with what you already own.

No "go to the store and buy 14 things" recipes. No typing your pantry in by hand. No barcode scanning one box at a time like it's 2014.

The pitch is: prevent food waste from stuff you already have, and learn to cook new things in the process. That's it. That's the whole app. And after a year of paying for apps that promise this and don't deliver, I cannot tell you

how refreshing it is to use one that just does it.

A few things I've noticed that I genuinely like:

- The pantry photo scan is fast. I took three photos of my fridge and it built the list in under a minute.

- Recipes get sorted by what's about to go bad first, which is the actual use case I needed.

- It doesn't try to do 90 things no calorie tracker, no smart-fridge integration, no AI chatbot suggesting "vibrant Mediterranean fusion bowls." Just photo → ingredients → recipes - instructions.

- There's also a cocktail bar built in with thousands of vintage drinks. Wasn't expecting that. Found a Bee's Knees variant from 1930.

Launching publicly on Google Play June 10. It's a solo dev based out of Alabama building it.

Why I'm posting: the dev is looking for honest tester feedback before launch. He's promised every recommendation goes into a vote system and the top items ship before June 10. So if you have an Android phone and you want to try

it, you can join the closed test below. I'm getting on this train early because I want this thing to be everything I've been waiting for, and the way to make sure it is — is to actually use it and tell him what's broken.

Brutal feedback wanted. Tell him what works, what doesn't, where the app falls short, where it shines.

View it at www.brimmapp.com or www.speakeater.com its already built!!!

Hey, solo dev in Alabama. I'm shipping an Android app called Speakeater on June 10 and I need 6 more closed-beta testers to clear Google's 12-tester / 14-day requirement.

What it does: photograph your fridge or pantry → vision OCR reads every label and produce item → 28k recipes get ranked by what you actually own, sorted by what's about to expire. Plus a 4,000-cocktail bar with pre-Prohibition

manuscripts (Jerry Thomas 1862, Boothby 1908, Ensslin 1917) for whoever wants to pour something while dinner cooks.

Why I'm posting: I want real feedback. Bugs, what's confusing, what falls flat, what's actually good. Every suggestion goes into a vote queue and the top items ship before June 10.

What you get: Speakeater Pro free for life if you stay through launch.

How to join: comment or DM the Gmail address tied to your Android phone (Google requires it for closed testing) and I'll add you today. Then click the opt-in link below from that phone.
