Who tf is Ed Gallrein
He just won the election against Thomas Massie in Kentucky, but I’ve literally never heard of him before. All I know is he’s backed by Trump and also a former Navy SEAL. Hell, he doesn’t even have his own Wikipedia page 😭

Is the true origin of Judaism really only 6000 years ago? It has got to be a more ancient religion, but that’s barely discussed. There’s a lot of pagan influences and things like child sacrifice and worship of Baal have deeper origins.
To me, he seems like a jestermaxxer like most of the streaming community. Recently he dropped this song called “She Wanna Hang With An Indian” https://youtu.be/UMqsuNUxoz8?si=wbiC74StfV2ywQOg
I think it’s like the natural progression of brown dudes in middle/high school to get into rap music and embody the culture that surrounds it. We’re never going to necessarily fit into a white society so we shift over to embracing black culture. Theres nothing intrinsically wrong with that, but some of y’all are taking it too far.
There’s some guys raised in the suburbs who speak to me like they have a 4th grade reading level. Stop spamming the N-word and talking about hoes all day. You are intentionally dumbing yourself down so you can look “cool” in front of your peers. I know you don’t speak like that to your parents.
I just cringe when I see a group of brown boys blasting trap music while selling hard drugs out of their daddy’s BMW. We’re better than this. I think we need to understand that the music industry (especially modern rap) is meant to bring people down and lull them into a sense of belonging with repetitive lyrics that for a lack of a better term, are societal programming. This affects all communities (the black community, wiggas, chiggas, Edgars, etc), but I just wanted to talk about the brown community specifically.
Call me a square or racist or whatever, but I’ve seen too many friends get caught up trying to be someone they are not, ended up ruining their lives by either going to jail on some drug/violence-related charge. I’m glad I grew out of it once I got to college, started focusing on my career. But some brown dudes are almost in their 30s still trying to act like thugs. Your parents did not immigrate to this country for you to act like this.
This is coming from someone who literally used to play exclusively rap/hip-hop 24/7, doing/selling drugs, and talk exclusively in slang to my peers. Maturing is realizing that behaving like this is going to get you nowhere in life. We need to accept our desi roots and proliferate our culture throughout the world instead of latching on to another culture. This whole identity crisis is rooted in insecurity and that needs to be overcome.
I need Yankee stadium grad tickets, one candidate and two guest tickets. Did not think I would be attending the ceremony but plans changed.
DM me if you are able to sell me a candidate or guest ticket. No scammers please, ideally meet in-person.
The reality we live in is completely different from the one our parents grew up in. Back then you could do good in school and land a job easily and live comfortably. None of that is guaranteed and the people that say “just work harder in school/just keep applying” are entirely missing the point. Focus on building and networking. Not Leetcode and getting on your knees for an internship.
I’m not saying to ignore the fundamentals of programming. But that can be learned WITHOUT college classes that are too damn expensive! Very few professors are teaching you about subagents, MCP servers, how to optimize for token usage, prompt engineering, and AI workflows. I was talking to a boomer CS prof today who didn’t know what OpenClaw was… Once you have the fundamentals on lock, get a Claude code + cursor subscription and start building (students get something like 6 months free).
I recently built an entire AI pipeline system for e-commerce businesses and recently hit $20k/MRR. I’m now in connection with several major content creators in the ecom space as a consultant building out pipelines for them as well.
6 months ago, I was literally a broke junior sitting on my ass grinding leetcode all day and depressed because I still didn’t hear back from any internships. You need to BUILD and MARKET and make an impact to a specific niche. I used to dropship back in freshman year with TikTok shop, so I know the ins and outs of the industry already. It’s so easy nowadays now that we have all these pipelines that would have taken weeks or months to build 10 years ago.
If I was a high school senior in 2026 interested in tech, I would have dropped college and went all in on this. Unfortunately I’m already in debt, but I want other people to know that things are different now. And even if 1% of the people reading this are WILLING to take that risk, I applaud you. Because everyone around you will be telling you how stupid you are. Take a damn risk while you are young. The overheard is incredibly low. Claude costs like $20/month and even less for students.
I have a final exam w/ Respondus for Yang’s OS class (CS202). They’re saying we need to set up a second camera showing our face, screen, keyboard, and mouse all in one frame… probably because too many people got As and Bs on the last online midterm.
Apparently you need iOS 18+ to use the second camera with respondus. I have an iPhone 8 which doesn’t have iOS 18. This is ridiculous. Do they expect me to get a new upgraded iPhone just to do an exam?
