What percentage of polyester do you find acceptable in a garment?

Not a troll, I promise, just trying to navigate the process of deciding on fabric composition.

Editing to add what I should've stated originally: the garment I'm looking at is a coat 70% wool, 30% poly.

The topic is tangentially related, so please let me know if it’s not a good fit here.

So I’m coming to a realization that I’ll need to undo the progress of probably past 5 months due to breakage. I’m yet unsure if I really need to cut that much in one go or just chop a couple of centimeters every six week. Growing these was not easy emotionally either - I would check if I have a progress every other day (I count the number of knots in braid to track it more or less accurately), and now I have to go like half of the year back. I wonder how other people cope with having the desired result WAY ahead?

Have you ever been dealing with being heavily influenced by one single person in fashion? I'm not talking about picking up some ideas here and there, but rather gradually adopting an entire aesthetic to a t. I wonder if this problem happens to other people? Maybe someone whom you know was dealing with that. I'm specifically interested in perspective of someone who adopts the style, not someone being copied by other person.

So in order to protect my hair from breakage I braid and fasten it with silk scrunchie. I do tie it tight in order to prevent the scrunchie from slipping down (I actually lost another one somewhere this month). The problem is, today I discovered some noticiable difference in opacity a bit above the line there I usually wear my scruchie. Could it be causing more harm then good? I thought tight scrunchie is still fine as long as it has silky surface, but now I'm unsure what to do.

Important: I do red light therapy since last December, and I wonder if that could impact the shedding, and cause my semi-opaque ends as a result.
