Hi all,

I'm in England in Northampton and receiving UC as I'm currently jobless and couch surfing, so effectively house less if not homeless. I recently made an application for JSA as well as I'm actively seeking a job and have been for months and the immediate reaction from people close to me is that I shouldn't have, though no one can articulate to me why not.

Nothing in the JSA application seems to preclude getting both UC and JSA and I meet the other criteria of having been in work in the last two years etc.

So, have I screwed up?
