Rate my custom pickups

I’m going for a slightly more aggressive early 60’s thing. All pickups are 42 AWG formvar coated. Going on a 7.5” radius hardtail Strat.

Neck = 7800 winds (~5.9k) alnico 5 vintage stagger

Middle - RWRP = 8100 winds (~6.1k) alnico 5 vintage stagger

Bridge = 8400 winds (~6.4k) alnico5/alnico2 split (bass 5, treble 2), custom slightly higher treble vintage stagger to compensate for bridge pickup distance from string. AND a cooper coated steel baseplate.

Fender road worn dots

I have a 60s neck from the Vintera Road Worn Stratocasters released last year and the dots are “aged” to sort of look like clay. Like a dummy, I ran my fingernail over one and the muck came off. Any idea what they use to smudge these up so I can re-grime it?

Trying to stop ruminating.

My mom is into her 5th year since diagnosis. She is still at home but sleeps most of the day. No longer speaks, but still recognizes some people, smiles, and can walk (feebly). My dad is her primary caretaker and he’s being worn down in his 70s too. I have trouble sleeping because I try to anticipate every terrible thing—living out a thousand bad scenarios in my mind. I love my mom very much and she loved me too. When I can get to sleep, I often wake up around 3 am feeling anxious and can’t get back to sleep until 5:30 or 6. It’s awful. Anyone in a similar situation find anything that helps?
