Coaster Brake
opinions please :
just bought a rim set with a rear coaster brake which I was tempted to remove but now I'm just curious about leaving it on and actually using it on an urban commuter (essentially my beater bike)
my prior experience with coaster brakes were they're a pain in the ass to remove if had a flat
but wondering if it's not a totally antiquated system and still used by many here ?
Can I remove the coaster brake from this internal gear hub
and just use it as a rim brake , trying to replace an old Alfine 8 with this but is removing the coaster brake mechanism possible ?
