My vintage Nokia 6600 from 2003

Found this legend in my drawer. It was one of the earliest Symbian smartphones back in the early 2000s. It is no longer working, but the design is still so unique.

Vintage Thai Spiritual Art: A Talisman for Success and Protection (1980s)

The first photo is a vintage Thai talisman from the 1980s. The second photo shows the creator, Luang Phor Kasem, at his sanctuary. Remarkably, his body has remained intact and undecayed since 1996, drawing many to visit and pay their respects. To many, this art is not just a decoration, but a piece of a living miracle.

Luang Phor Koon: "Ruay Nae" Edition (1993) - Nawaloha Double authentic stamps

What makes this particular piece extraordinary is the rare hand-inscribed yantra by Luang Phor Koon himself. While this edition can be found in the market, finding one with his original hand-engraving is incredibly rare. You won't easily find a second one like this.

A beautiful Nawaloha (9-metal alloy) medal of the legendary monk Luang Phor Koon. This 'Ruay Nae' edition translates to 'Definitely Rich'. It features double authentic code stamps and has been preserved in my family's prayer room since 1993.

Modern Glass Workshop

I started my journey in the internet cafe business back in 2005. In 2013, I finally found this place to settle down. After many years of the digital world, I decided to transform the space into something more hands-on. Now, it's my private glass-walled woodworking shop

Exquisite details on this 1982 Phra Siam Devadhiraj (B.E. 2525) edition.

Sharing this exceptional piece from my collection: Phra Siam Devadhiraj, the Guardian Spirit of Thailand. This particular edition was commissioned in 1982 (B.E. 2525) to celebrate the Rattanakosin Bicentennial (200th Anniversary of Bangkok).

Artistic Highlights:

  • Royal Court Craftsmanship: The sculpting reflects the "Chang Luang" (Royal Artisan) standard, characterized by lifelike proportions and incredibly sharp, fluid details.
  • Intricate Regalia: Every element of the Royal attire, from the crown to the traditional Thai motifs, is rendered with meticulous precision.
  • The Detachable Sword: A testament to the casting's engineering, the "Phra Khan" (Royal Sword) is fully detachable and fits perfectly, showcasing the mastery of form and metalwork.

This statue isn't just a religious icon but a quintessential example of high-level Thai fine arts.

Phra Siam Devadhiraj: A Masterpiece of Royal Craftsmanship (1982 Rattanakosin Bicentennial Edition)

This 1982 (B.E. 2525) edition of Phra Siam Devadhiraj is a definitive example of high-level Thai craftsmanship. Rather than a mass-produced piece, it exhibits the finesse of Royal Court Artistry, specifically commissioned to mark the Rattanakosin Bicentennial (200th Anniversary of Bangkok).

What distinguishes this piece is the "Royal Mechanic" (Chang Luang) quality:

  • Intricate Molding: The proportions are remarkably lifelike, moving beyond the rigidity often found in standard casts. The anatomy of the arms and the serene expression of the face reflect a deep mastery of form.
  • Sharpness of Detail: Every element of the Royal regalia—from the "Chada" (crown) to the "Chai Wai" (decorative hip accents)—is rendered with razor-sharp precision. The "Kanok" motifs are deep and clear, showcasing meticulous hand-finishing.
  • Historical Significance: Created during one of Thailand's most important national celebrations, this edition was cast following strict traditional protocols, making it both a sacred object and a masterpiece of fine art.

A true representation of the "Masterpiece" standard in Thai numismatics and statuary.

A Signature Technical Detail:
One of the most remarkable features of this 1982 edition is the detachable "Phra Khan" (Royal Sword).

A piece of my past: Found these still in the original shipping box from my old Thai Internet Cafe (2009).

Just found this box! Back in 2009, when I ran an internet cafe, everyone was hooked on DotA, so these Thai version Diablo II copies stayed untouched in their original shipping box. They’ve remained factory-sealed for 17 years—a true time capsule from the golden age of Thai internet cafes. I just wanted to share these memories with you all.

15 years later, still sealed. A piece of history from my old Thai Internet Cafe.

I used to run an internet cafe back in 2005. I just found this unopened shipping box from 2009 in my storage. Inside are these factory sealed Thai versions of Diablo II and Warcraft III. Simply letting go and sharing some nostalgia.
