Thai Fine Arts: Phra Phrom (Brahma) - 4 Faces, 8 Arms

Sharing a standout piece from my collection: a Phra Phrom (Brahma) statue cast in 1977 (B.E. 2520). The 47-year-old natural patina gives the metal a deep, powerful character. I'm especially impressed by the sharp details of the sacred objects in each hand. In Thai tradition, 2520 was a significant year for several renowned masters' editions. What do you think of the preservation and craftsmanship on this one

Teak Wood Case for my Phra Somdej Unalom, Wat Bowonniwet.

I started this project simply because I’m an amulet collector. Most of the silver or stainless steel cases I have are quite heavy for daily wear. I wanted something lighter, so I decided to design and CNC-machine my own teak case—similar to how we use phone cases for protection.

The result is a minimal, lightweight piece made from natural materials. It’s comfortable to wear and keeps the focus on the simplicity of the wood and the amulet itself. Even though it's light, once the case is closed, it provides a very solid and secure fit, keeping the amulet safe while remaining easy to wear. I used a small bit to achieve the precise internal dimensions needed for this snap-fit design.

Phra Nak Prok: The Buddha sheltered by the Naga. Polished Brass Sculpture, 1982 Edition (B.E. 2525).

A beautifully crafted brass sculpture of Phra Nak Prok. This 1982 edition captures the serene expression of the Buddha, protected by the intricate seven-headed Naga. The golden hue of the brass adds a timeless dignity to the piece.
