I’ve been wanting to make a pouch design for a while now and finally had the opportunity! For leather choices, I went with a 4oz gold Samoa for the exterior and 2oz black Sully for the lining. I wanted to add just a bit of structure to the zipper area, so I added .7mm microfiber reinforcement on both sides. It’s stitched at 3.38mm with 632 Fil Au Chinois and all edges are painted with gold Vernis.
Hey everyone, bit of a milestone for me here, I finally put together my first pattern release. It’s a fitted case for the Crimson Hides 2+5+9 3mm French iron set.
I’m releasing the pattern for free as a little thank you to the leatherworking community. I’ve learned a ton from the people here over the years, and this felt like a good way to give something back.
The pattern includes the layout/template files, both a4 and letter, and is designed specifically around the Crimson Hides 2+5+9 set for a snug fit.

I always love getting a chance to play around with colors, so this was a fun one for me. This client wanted one of my Snowcrest minimalist wallets with a University of Mississippi color scheme. So, after a bit of googling, I decided to use the Ole Miss helmet for the inspiration here.
