[F4A] Long-termTwilight Princess RP (Midna × Link)

Hello! My name is Hilda; I'm 21f with flexible literacy. Recently, I finished my second playthrough of Twilight Princess, and it has me craving some Midna × Link(canon or genderbent) RP.

In particular, I'm wanting this to follow the plot of the game, with a few differences:

  1. A romantic subplot. This is the cornerstone of the whole idea, to actually set it apart from the game. Rather than the platonic relationship they share in the original, I'm hoping to have Midna and Link slowly but steadily fall for each other throughout the story.

  2. More downtime. In a game about killing monsters with a sword, any moments that aren't progressing the story are few and far between. However, romantic stories thrive on giving characters time along by themselves to interact. This would mean meal breaks, camping out, stopping at inns, along with other moments here and there.

  3. Midna having more to do. Since Twilight Princess is a singleplayer game, it makes sense for Link to do everything. Wouldn't be much of a game, watching Midna do all the work. However, I'd get especially bored roleplaying a character that's kicking back and doing nothing, so I want Midna to take a more active role in boss fights and other moments. They would have more of a team dynamic in these scenes, working together to take down large foes.

There are definitely other changes that would make it better that I'm not remembering, but we can cross that bridge when we come to it.

I'm cool with any level of literacy, and I'm perfectly okay with there being long gaps between replies. I prefer using Discord, but it's not a deal breaker.

If you're interested -- which I bet you are considering you read this far -- please don't hesitate to contact me!

[F4A] Transformative RPG Quest(s)

Hello! I've had two ideas for roleplays, which are both pretty similar though certainly have different vibes. I figured it'd be easier to just share both in one post to keep things simple.

The important common thread between both would be super basic RPG mechanics (just using dice with stats that add or subtract, nothing fancy) to determine how things play out. A little surprise could never hurt.

The first would focus mostly on just two characters, on their quest to stop an evil being (could be a witch, could be a demon, haven't decided) who is plaguing the land with transformations! The pair, however, would not be immune. Should they be fighting something, only to fail, they'd be in some way turned into what they were fighting. This would effect their stats, and would be able to stack as many as we want. Considering how easy two characters are, it would be simple to just use OCs for it.

The other would instead have a large, growing (or shrinking) party of characters, on their journey to stop a vampiric threat. Just like the last one, losing fights could result in a transformation. However, this time, they're always up against vampires. Their goal would be to take on a few vampire bosses, before going after the queen. I would be able to take control of as many characters as necessary, of course. Since making a dozen OCs is kind of annoying, I'd see it better fit to have the characters be from fandoms, for the most part at least.

Neither of these are too fleshed out at the moment, so some details (setting, tone, stuff like that) will need a little ironing out. All the more chances to really make it fit for the both of us!

So please, let me know if this interests you!
