If you are looking for a slow burn, intimate, angsty and relatively wholesome romance based around arranged marriages then this ad will hopefully be for you!

Now those little disclaimers are out of the way let’s get into it! Arranged marriages. Gotta love ‘em. There’s something about two characters being forced into such a high stakes situation, the intimacy and romance inherent in the concept yet completely missing or heavily one sided in said relationship. I’m a huge sucker for them at the moment, and all the rps I’m currently engaged in are based around the concept in some form or another.

Onto some specifics, as I mentioned in the disclaimers above I am looking to play my trans oc, Erica. This isn’t really up for debate and it’s what I’m looking to pursue so to emphasise what I said above, if you’re not okay playing against her then I’m not the writer for you. If you are then that’s great! The only specific requirement I have for your character is that you play some form of top/dom/‘giver’ etc. Erica is not a dominant character and this will not work if you’re not able to play someone along those lines, regardless of gender identity. We can obviously get into the nitty gritty of that if you message me off this ad, but that’s a surface level summary.

Now a little bit about me! I go by Blue online, I’m 26, I’m genderfluid (She/They) and my timezone is GMT! I have a very free schedule, my job basically allows me to be on my phone all the time, and I’m available from around 7am to around 11pm uk time on weekdays and then weekends is a random large period of free time depending on life stuff. I’m completely ok with chatting ooc or keeping it mainly rp and things relating to that, although if we vibe ooc the that’s always a plus. I am super enthusiastic about this specific oc (I’ve even got a Pinterest board for her) so any opportunity to fit her backstory and surrounding concepts of her character into the rp, the happier I’ll be.

In terms of writing I can go anywhere from 200 to 800+ words depending on scenes, your level of detail input and etc. I understand the length is usually scene dependant, I’m not expecting a novella response for dialogue heavy scenes and etc. I’m happy with many replies a day or infrequent ones, although I do really prefer a minimum of at least a few replies a week.

Now onto some plot details. So I have the most background and material for this to be set in a medieval/fantasy style (not a deal breaker) with varying levels of fantasy elements depending on what we decide. It can be no magic, low/practical magic, high level magic or anywhere on the scale. I have a couple of kingdom concepts, one of which I have another Pinterest board with clothing and styles presented on it. This is however by no means a necessity, and this can obviously be easily reskinned for any kind of sci-fi setting, so for example a marriage between rival megacorps, space civilisations or even planetary/system treaties. The ‘background’ elements of this can be easily swapped around depending on what we decide on.

This ad is getting a little long now, it’s really gotten away from me, so I’ll keep it brief from now on. One specific idea I do really like other than the classic arranged marriage format is this:

My character has been hidden away almost her whole life by her mother due to her despising her transness. Her father is her one lifeline of compassion, and has prevented her mother from straight up abandoning her or worse, but he’s spineless infront of her verbal abuse and demeaning etc. Your character is on the other way to the arranged marriage with Erica’s sister, Moritta, and whilst you’re on the way Moritta flees, leaving her parents high and dry without a bride. They scramble all day until they finally offer up Erica as a replacement, and your character shows up to this mystery second daughter the family has kept completely hidden from any records or information, and we go from there.

Erica adjusted the uncomfortable wireframe of the black and silver corset around her midriff, glancing down to make sure her somewhat small but still serviceable breasts were propped up on the artificial shelf provided by the item of clothing. The fine, delicate needlework rimming the bodice she had on beneath it glittered in the sunlight, the thread twisted with strands of silver spun almost imperceptibly small.

She felt her mothers hand behind her, fussing with a lock of her hair caught in one of the shoulder straps of her ocean blue dress, chosen specifically to match the sails of her future husband’s vessels. She hissed with annoyance, batting the woman’s hand away from the brunette curls, sighing in frustration. “Mother it doesn’t matter how many times you touch my hair it’s going to look the same”

The backtalk earned a harsh jab into Erica’s back from her mother’s finger, causing her to let out a cry of pain “do you want to look like some kind of street whore for your husband? Hm? Need I remind you of what’s at stake here?!” The queen spat back, her brows knitting together in the familiar expression of fury before returning to one of tranquil beauty in a second “you’ll be lucky if he even lowers himself enough to put up with you”

Erica felt herself shrink slightly at the woman’s cutting words, the usual disapproval of the princess’s identity a very frequent occurrence, at least from the matriarch of her family. She glanced across at her father, the king, who gave her a small and comforting smile.

The small moment of reassurance perked Erica back up, and her gaze slowly rose to the gargantuan ship pulling beside the cobbled surface. The vehicle was massive, at least 100ft long. She could see hundreds of barnacles dotting the huge oak swell of the hull as it floated beside the dock, the tide lapping against the shining wood with soft slapping noises.

Gigantic, deep blue sails flapped and cracked loudly in the sea breeze, the silver embroidered house crest of (place holder) shining in the harsh desert sun. It gently bobbed whilst at anchor, and she watched intently as two crewmen flipped the dark wooden gangplank down and let it clatter to the surface of the jetty. Erica’s heart felt like it was going to leap from her chest, pounding with anxiety. Finally she would gain a first proper look at her groom-to-be.

I’m seeking a slow-burn, character-driven roleplay centered on Tywin Lannister taking a foreign wife, not for affection, but for trade, political stability, and the continued strength of Joffrey’s reign.

This is not a romance-first story. It is about duty, grief, and two people shaped by power learning how to coexist within a marriage neither of them entered lightly.

In response to growing instability in Westeros, Tywin Lannister agrees to a strategic marriage alliance with a foreign power.

Crown Princess Evaelyn Valyrios, second crown heir of the Crimson Empire, is offered in marriage in exchange for trade routes, resources, and political backing.

Hello! I'm a huge star wars fan and have loved the franchise a very, very, very normal amount! I know this title above says "oc x cannon" but I am pretty easy to sway for oc. However for oc I'm looking for something specific so I could be a tad 'picky.'

Cannon:

Honestly I'm looking for a some what Slice of life/ angst filled/action role play! I am looking for someone willing to play Maul. Specially clone wars era Maul or just after. Maul is my favourite character, I love everything about him.

However, the plot I have is simple. Instead of Savage finding Maul on the junk planet, what happens if my oc found him, helped him. She takes him to the witches still (prehaps savage helps them get there) and when Maul gets his mind back he's got a knew obsession. Her.

We know that him going insane and only surviving due to his hate for Obi wan was tainted and manipulated by the force and that even when his mind was unbroken it still used that as a driving force...but what if this new driving force is this person who helped him at his weakest, saved him unlike what his mother or master did? He's still Maul so I imagine he still kinda sucks, but I love the idea of him being very protective, possessive and almost aggressive when it comes to keeping her around. Prehaps he likes how gentle she is with him, something he's never exper and doesn't know how to process?

If you want to use an oc, all I ask is you have an alien sith lord. What can I say? Aliens are so fun! The plot is simple. Your character is strong, powerful. The sith lord of the galaxy. The one in charge. Think vader levels. Anyways, he's big, tall, intimadating but started getting this visions od someone. Someone soft, someone gentle. Someone he can have for himself. We know sith don't get that sort of connection often and the idea of something gentle prehaps is a part that he craves more than anything. Besides, it's something new to fuel his passion, his rage. To keep her safe and the ideas of her being taken away even stronger!

ALL CHARACTERS ARE 18+.

Life just didn't seem to cut him any sort of slack; dried tears streaked his face, his movements shuddered as he dialed his best friend's number. But as soon as she answered the phone, everything would start to be okay again. She always made everything okay...

She'd graciously offered to come by and pick him up and he'd reluctantly obliged, not wanting to inconvenience her in any way, yet he wasn't exactly in any position to look a gift horse in the mouth. Plus, it felt............weirdly nice having one less thing to shoulder all on his own for once. She'd helped him through a lot over the past year, especially after he'd opened up to her about some personal demons that so deeply haunt him to this day. He was entranced by her beauty, comforted by her presence, and would do anything to spend the rest of his life with this woman.

Finally in her car and all strapped in, he sighed in sweet relief upon feeling her hands gently cup his face, those gorgeous eyes studying his defeated expression. Blushing from the warm, gentle kiss she placed on his forehead, he melted into her hug and suddenly everything was okay again. He was safe with her, safe with his anchor amongst the storm in spite of the age gap between them.

Hi! I have an idea for a gentle, wholesome, cuddly love story centered around a younger man and a much older woman. Something about blurring the lines between a motherly figure, a friend, and a girlfriend/wife/lover just sends shivers down my spine in the best way possible.

I'd love for this to mainly be a slice of life kinda deal, heart to heart talks, cooking together, and some nice relaxing weekends just to name a few. We could also include deeper snippets of their day-to-day lives in it i.e. doctor's appointments, therapy appointments (for him), clothes shopping, and everything in between. Holiday gatherings could provide some especially interesting scenes as well as some always-necessary coziness.

In my head he's around 19-22 and she's 39-50; I feel the age gap is a VERY essential detail in regards to their dynamic, how she treats him, and how she approaches him. I also have backstories in mind for both of our characters, but I will have to warn you, his backstory is quite dark. If that's an issue for you then I'll try to be as flexible as I can but I feel like it's essential for his character and their dynamic.

He's essentially someone who comes from a deeply traumatic background, whatever that might entail whether that means an abusive father, that he was orphaned early on, etc.; it's left him with quite a bit of baggage, and I'd love to explore what that dichotomy with someone with a "normal" background might look like, and how they can help him heal together.

A mysterious ship (or two) crash-lands on Pandora, and as the wreckage burns, a new handful of alien beings appear on the planet. I have a few characters I can use for this, so depending on what you'd like to see we can absolutely have fun with introducing new aliens, setting this in any of the movies (we can even play this while Grace is still alive / before Jake becomes one of the people and is still trying to earn the Na'vi's trust, or really anything. Just come at me with ideas).

hello! i'm Bee, 23f, she/her, and I'm looking for a collaborator (18+) interested in writing a story set in the Hunger Games universe! Specifically, I'm interested in an almost slice-of-life (and eventual romance!) plot / character study, focused on the people outside the arena who are still very much entwined with Capitol life, culture, and propaganda.

I have a female victor/mentor OC and I would love to play her against someone else in the Capitol. Another victor/mentor, a stylist, reporter, escort, child of a Capitol official... anything goes, really! My OC is from one of the often-forgotten districts, so I would be extra curious to play her against someone born and raised in the Capitol or a career district. My only two musts are that they're compatible characters who would be fun to write as an eventual romantic/physical partnership, and that the characters are both tied up tightly in the Capitol's web. I want angst, I want trauma bonding, I want to take these characters from strangers, maybe even enemies, to deeply in love and possibly unhealthily codependent. I know that will take a while, but I'm locked into this story and I'd love to find someone who can match my energy :)

I'm looking to write against an original character; Canon characters can be part of our story, but I'm more interested in the characters who aren't 'important enough' to the rebellion to even know any of the core revolutionaries.

As a writer, I strongly prefer writing sapphic relationships, so I'd gladly write this OC against your female OC. Well, those rumours are back. The hospital, just as people are switching off with the night crew, are told there has been a threat sent, saying that a ‘killer clown’ will go on a rampage. Obviously people barely believe this, once again, it’s Halloween, but Incase it is a real threat. The hospital goes on lockdown.

And chaos continues- or maybe it doesn’t? It’s up to you and I to find out!

An Empire has fractured. Long before we could have given it a wink, and the throne of the Salriad Empire is gone. Now all the powerful Empire Fractions try to gain enough strength and grab the throne. They all follow a noble cause. Restoring an Empire this great is no easy feat.

"Who the hell made this cup? You? Give me your skull, idiot, I'll bash this thing against ya..."

We are someone who are despised. Thrown around by mouthy men and yet scared by the same men. People fear us. Priests pray for us, and our... Souls.

"In short, we are hlatvern." A man in the chainmail looks down at the tied farmer. The latter's body is nimble, and lost all of its strength and fat because of the age. It is a dried man before the warrior, who's on his kneels and who had to watch everything what they did. All these two days. Of course the man before him was already too tortured. His body and mind were no longer. But his heart still beat. He still could hear and see them. But he was far from any of these warriors.

"Is he sleeping?" The same man asks, but another steps in left of the farmer...

"No, Godrick, he isn't..." Another man in the chainmail, much bigger than Godrick, takes his foot and brings it with force to the man's ribs. Farmer lets out a low, muffled groan.

"Oh, might his mind be wounded?" Godrick looked down at the farmer. There were 8 men, including him, in that hut. Standing over the farmer. Deciding his fate and partly toying with him. Godrick was a short man. You wouldn't think this boy rules the biggest hlatvern warparty. But he does. His body is hidden with the white cloak, and a chainmail. His closed, unique "canlike" helmet is on his back, worn like a backpack for convenience. The sheathes of his sword reaches the floor, just as his feet. His boots are made out of steel, and covered in the April mud, blood and snow. His face is beautiful. Those eyes would conquer anyone's heart, at least this is what the conquered truly believe. And he had a thousand of such. His long, blonde hair always makes it hard to believe that he is a man.

"Kill him." Men already picked up their blades, but Godrick stopped them with his hand and a laughing shout. "Let him rest in Voldarn."

"Are you---Wait, are you serious?" The bigger man, a brute whose face is hidden behind a small chainmail and whose eyes are the only of the face's attributes visible, looks shocked.

"Yes. I am. He has suffered enough." Godrick's face wasn't amazed or even shocked. This was easy to him, to send such tormented soul to Voldarn is only but a necessary.

"Yes, Godrick..." This monster then turned to the all other men, who were stunned more than that statue of muscle and strength. "You! Why you are all standing there?! Go and ready their ship! We'll use it!"

[a Godrick's voice comes back...]

Indeed. We are hlatvern. Oathbound warriors. Some of us here have too much at doing their duties. I often hate seeing such sights but it is a rest to the warrior. I shall respect it in a way. For they fought hard for this village.

Protectors of this one were really fierce. Looked like they really wanted it to live for a century more. I've put the stakes for them. They'll die slowly, gazing at what they tried to protect. I won't even send them to anywhere. I'll let them disappear. 28 brave men, all to die because of the crows and nature. But it is a fine example. And good examples are followed.

For I will burn the world.

While the North has its own problems, such as the Clanwars, including the deep East (the death of the Emperor), South (forming of the Green Horde and the deep West. (something much more terrible)

Godrick here will be the main antagonist of this world. Even though for now he is only a leader of a hlatvern warband... We know what ambitious, energetic men like him can do when they are motivated to do something that they dream to come true.

So, this world has many character potentials, let's say like the Mainland where knights can be, legionaries, auxiliaries, or the North, with the hlatvern being obvious vikings, and, yeah you get it. We will focus on your character, but from time to time, you'll hear about the BBEG (the main antagonist). This is your journey, but by far he can become the biggest threat to you on your way to something.

I’m I’m looking to start up a long term RP based around a superhero academy!

Plot(s): Over the past 100 years or so, humans have begun to develop strange powers at varying levels of potency. Custodians are those who have been able to control and harness their powers well enough with good intentions to protect civilians from those who intend to cause harm. Custodian Academy is where bright young heroes-to-be go to work with existing Custodians in bettering themselves!

Existing as a worldwide association, Custodian Academy has facilities across the globe, with the focus of this RP being in Upstate Maine, USA. There has been a recent increase in intake for the facilities due to a spike in superpower-backed criminal activity— some facilities having been attacked themselves. The Headmaster hopes to train up a strong enough force with the new wave of academy members, led by the existing small force already.

It’s pretty nondescript so far! (Background wise anyway). I plan on having attacks to the facility occur and eventually result in the capture of a student. I have information about a fair amount students and professors, but I’d like the amount of students per facility to be relatively low (for the sake of me tracking them all ;_;).

Given that I’ll be controlling multiple characters, I’ll be writing in 3rd person, but I don’t have any preferences on your choice! This *will* be my first time GMing for an RP, but I’ll be taking notes of information as everything passes and doing my best to not overwhelm you with to many characters at once! Letting me know which characters you prefer yours to interact with as the story progresses would likely help as well!

I generally write a few paragraphs per reply, but given that I’ll be setting up a lot of background information, I will likely be doing more than normal. Of course it’s a scene to scene thing, so for more dialogue focused bits I won’t be writing fluff just to increase length. I work 5 days a week, so please be patient with my replies, I will do my best to get at least one out a day, and hopefully more on my off-days if our schedules line up!

Plot & World Concept:

The Holy Aurelian Empire is one of the oldest and most powerful realms in the world—an empire built on divine right, rigid tradition, and an unbroken imperial bloodline said to be chosen by the heavens themselves. Its rulers are not just monarchs, but near-sacred figures, and succession is everything.

From the moment she was born, Aurelia Amalie Eugenie, the emperor’s second born and only daughter was never raised to rule—only to be utilized. Educated in etiquette, obedience, and diplomacy, she was groomed to be married off as a political offering to strengthen alliances while her elder brother was prepared to inherit the throne.

But the timing could not be worse.

As she approaches her 20th birthday, her father, the Emperor, falls gravely ill and the court begins quietly bracing for his death, she is forced into an arranged marriage with a foreign king—one known for his power, control, and unyielding expectations. (Your character!) Despite her fear and desperate pleas to remain with her dying father, her brother ensures the marriage proceeds. Duty comes before all else.

She leaves behind everything she has ever known. She begins to settle into her new life as a wife and Queen.

And then—everything falls apart with one decision.

A letter arrives in the dead of night.

Her brother has been assassinated.

With the Emperor still lingering on his deathbed, the empire is suddenly left without a clear male heir. And for the first time in its history, the only direct successor is her.

The consequences are immediate.

The capital erupts into unrest. Noble houses begin to divide. Religious authorities question whether a woman can truly hold the divine mandate. And most dangerously of all, a powerful uncle steps forward, claiming the throne should pass to him instead.

Then comes the formal summons to her husband:

The demand her return. Ascend. Secure the throne—before it is taken.

But she is no longer just a daughter of the empire.

She is now bound to a king, to you.

And so begins a dangerous return to a court on the brink of collapse—where every glance hides a motive, every ally may betray her, and every step toward the throne could cost her life.

She must transform from a sheltered, obedient girl into something far more dangerous:

A ruler, if her husband allows.
