2014 Honda Accord losing power under acceleration, possible compression issue?

Hey everyone, I’m hoping to get some advice before I make a big decision on this. My 2014 Honda Accord recently started losing power, especially when accelerating or going uphill. It idles mostly fine. But once I give it more throttle, it feels sluggish and kind of inconsistent. I already checked some basic stuff like spark plugs, air filter and even ran a fuel system cleaner, but nothing really changed. A mechanic I spoke to mentioned it could be low compression, which has me worried about internal engine wear like piston & parts starting to go. The car has about 120k miles, so it’s not super high mileage which is why this caught me off guard. I’m now stuck trying to figure out if it’s worth putting money into diagnosing and repairing it or if this is the kind of issue that usually turns into a money pit. I still need the car daily, so I’m also unsure how risky it is to keep driving it like this while I decide. Has anyone run into something similar with this generation of Accord, and what did it end up being in your case? Would you fix it or start looking for something else?

Is it true that most wedding dresses are made in China?

Hi everyone, I’m based in Europe and I’ve noticed something that comes up a lot whenever people talk about bridal shopping here. There’s this common belief that a large percentage of wedding dresses, especially more affordable ones, are actually produced in China. Even if they’re sold by local boutiques or Western brands. I recently started looking into China wedding dresses out of curiosity (not getting married anytime soon, just interested in how the industry works) and I kept seeing mixed opinions. Some people say China is basically the global hub for bridal manufacturing because of skilled labor and large-scale production. Others say high-end dresses are still mostly made in Europe or designed locally and only partially produced abroad. I’ve also heard that many smaller designers or shops source dresses or materials through platforms like Alibaba. Which made me wonder how much of the process is actually based in China versus just outsourced in parts. From a Chinese perspective, how accurate is this belief? Are most wedding dresses really made in China, or is that an oversimplification people here tend to repeat? Would love to hear from people who are familiar with the industry or have firsthand experience.
