The Boss in The Burgh 5/19/26

Fantastic show again by The Boss. Huge, electric crowd. Great show for my 10th Springsteen concert.

Pictures from a wild weekend between Pitt and Notre Dame

Photos that I took from Notre Dame's 6-4 10 inning win on Friday and their wild 21-10 win on Friday at Charles L. Cost Field in Pittsburgh.

Last night, I opened a blaster of 2025/26 Upper Deck Hockey Series 2, and even though I don't buy a ton of hockey cards, usually a box or 2 each season, I was quickly reminded of how much better Upper Deck is than Topps and Panini. The quality of the cards are vastly better. They use a thicker card stock, both sides are a nice glossy finish. They just feel like much better quality. The photography used is way better. The design is so simple. Just a full card photo with their name and team at the bottom, as opposed to a huge border that minimizes the image. The inserts are awesome. Overall, just a way better product, and it really makes me miss Upper Deck Baseball and Football.
