Everyday I will buy one sports cards pack until I get one autographed card. I will mix up the sports cards type if possible everyday to make it more fun!

So I inherited this collection from my father who passed away recently, this is literally all he did, owned a comic/card store till the crash in the 90s as well, but I'm way out of my depth.

I'm super concerned about storing these but I just don't have the means to really do much else, but any suggestions at all would be greatly appreciated. I assume not, but safe to say this is wayy too much weight stacked up.

Also, anyone have any ideas on the best way to go about finding a potential buyer for the collection? The majority is baseball 2004-2026 probably 70%, then maybe 20% hockey same years, and then 10% mixed or basketball.

Before he passed I remember him saying he had about half the cards all individually added to his Beckett account, which I have access to Aswell, but currently sits at $720,00(im aware of how exadgeratted this value is).

But I have no interest in keeping or holding onto any(besides a box or two I already set aside) cards, so I'm just trying to seek Any advice on how to go about trying to unload this collection, and how to best store them in the meantime.

I bought this Matas Buzelis /25 Court Kings Auto RC from a local shop for $75. Had no intention of selling it and just wanted it for the PC because I really like Matas and think he could be good for the Bulls (Chicago native). But to satisfy my curiosity I checked how much the card was going for and couldn’t find a comp anywhere. Found /125 going for $50 and /75 going for about $75. Thought it was weird that I was able to get a /25 for the same price as the /75. Finally found the lone sale of the /25 and it went for $186.

Kind of wild that a shop would be selling the card for only 42% of the single online sale. My guess is they somehow misread it and thought it was /125. Because of the discrepancy and being cash-needy, I did throw it on eBay.

Anybody have a similar experience?

My binder was filled with these guys from the 90s (not Yao so much, since he was a tad later).

I like that the photos are just head shots and names, so no badly photoshopped unliscenced jerseys. It’s an amazing amount of history and I absolutely love that leaf does this. Seemed like a must have for a 90s bball fan and I figured folks might enjoy seeing it.

Sent these off a week or so ago and they came back signed. Love when guys do that!

My, soon to be, ten-year-old son has really gotten into baseball and wants to start card collecting (baseball, basketball, and football). I know prices are high. He’s not looking for 1of1s. He’s looking to collect base sets and his favorite players. What can I do that isn’t Amazon? $25 for someone’s leftovers feels a bit silly.

Top loaded or in a one touch ? Seen many people say having a one touch is better than top loading . Opinions on this ?

Just got this one back today! Pulled last year out of a $23 clearance mega box at Walmart, and sent it off for grading mid Jan 2026. Just fyi, SGC is running WAY behind. I was well north of 50 biz days getting this submission back.
