Detailed my truck.

Started with a whole wheel decontamination, with Chemical Guys Sticky Wheel cleaner. Used a soft bristle brush to agitate all the caked on dirt from the off road trails I’ve been on in between service visits. Then I went and did a whole paint and body wash and decontamination using Adams Polishes Ceramic Car soap. Used my pressure cleaner and foam gun to pre-soak the paint.

Then I used the same soap with two buckets to gently agitate the remaining dirt off the paint. After a preliminary rinse of the paint I followed up with a full decontamination of the paint with a clay bar using the same soap for lubricant.

After a full towel dry, I used an air compressor in the garage to blow off the whole truck and get any remaining water out of any crevices.

Followed up by a full wax using Griots Garage wax. After the wax cured I took it off with microfiber towels. I then parked my truck in the center of my garage and followed that up with Adams Polish Ceramic coat. I applied it by hand and then let it cure in my garage.

This might seem like overkill, but if you felt my paint, there is no imperfections. It’s as smooth as butter at room temp.

What do you think.

The only thing I haven’t been able to accomplish successfully is getting the damn shit off the plastic trim. If anyone here has tips on that, please let me know. Thank you!

I just did a full maintenance wash and detail of my LA Silver Gen 2 R1T.

Washed, and decontaminated the whole paint with Adam’s Polish Graphene Soap, I then did a full paint clay bar treatment using Ceramic Detail Spray for lubricant, and then I did a full coat of wax from Griots Garage, then I topped it up, with a full coat of Adam’s Polish Graphene Ceramic Coat and let it cure in my garage overnight.

These are the results.

It’s probably overkill for some. But I haven’t cleaned my car in months as it’s been in and out of the service center, and dealing with a smashed windshield from a stray rock on the highway.

Let me know what you think.
