Is ATT fiber internet better than Cox if you have very high usage?

Hey there, recently Cox has been stringing me along about their terrible upload speeds (has been 2mb/s-0.4mb/s after about 4PM for over a month). They keep giving a deadline for when it could be fixed and then it continues to be unusable past the deadlines.

I'm wondering if ATT Fiber is a better alternative for a household with 3 people who work online from home 24/7 all at the same time, and 1 extra person who streams a lot of tv shows, plus some of these people game a lot, or is that maybe too heavy of a use case for it?

I'm really not all too knowledgeable, but I feel like Cox has been terrible to work with for as long as I've had it and I'm at my last straw with this. But I also don't want to swap only to find out that it's not the right fit for us.

I would highly appreciate any insight you have about potentially switching to ATT!

Bad upload speeds for over a month?

About a month ago I started to notice online games were unplayable, ran some tests and noticed the upload speed was 2mb/s (but sometimes dropped down to as low as 0.4mb/s). I figured I needed a new router but that didn't help.

Eventually I realized the upload speed is fine (around 38mb/s) until around 4PM after which it immediately tanks instantly.

Tried to communicate with them and they said they were having an 'outage' and it could be up to a month before it's back to normal. Heard this second hand, but they were "working on the lines"? (May not be precisely what was said)

It's been over a month now with no improvement. I'm just wondering if anyone else has experienced something like this and how long it took to get back to normal, or if something else might be going on. Appreciate any response!
