Hiring an AI-savvy Product/UX Generalist

Looking for someone AI-savvy to work with me on polishing and launching a couple of web apps where the coding and feature work is already done.

Important part: the coding and feature work is already done. I’m happy with what the products do. What I need now is someone who can help me with the layer after that, meaning:

  • making the UI/UX better
  • improving usability
  • thinking through product direction
  • understanding user psychology
  • doing customer / market research
  • helping with positioning, messaging, and launch thinking

In short, it’s about helping me make the product more usable, more understandable, and more ready for users.

What I’m looking for:

You do not need to be some super-experienced product manager or UX expert. I care more that you’re comfortable with AI and have a decent instinct for product, UX, research, customer thinking, or growth.

Basically, I’m looking for someone thoughtful, practical, and good at figuring things out. It’s about being an AI-powered problem solver.

You’ll use AI to research users, study competitors, think through usability, and help me spot what makes the product easier to understand and use.

I want this to be a collaborative working relationship. We’ll be working together on a daily basis. It’s a good opportunity to get a front-row seat to how product launch decisions get made and how products are shaped before they go out to users.

I’m willing to pay between 150-200 USD depending on the value you bring.

A bit about me:

I’ve spent several years working in tech, and I like working with people in a transparent, humble, and fun way. I’m not interested in micromanaging every minute. I care more about useful work, honest communication, and whether we work well together.

Also being honest: these are essentially hobby projects for me. I’m doing them because I enjoy building and learning, so your passion and attitude matter a lot to me.

If this sounds interesting, message me and tell me:

  • what kind of work you’ve done that feels relevant
  • why this role interests you
  • how you use AI when you’re trying to understand users or improve a product

And just so I know you actually read this:

If I showed you a product where all the features were already built, what are the first 3 things you’d check before saying it’s ready for users?
