Something attacked last night. Being Sunday the only vet was not available. It's swollen and looks pretty bad. I've applied ointment. What to do?

My chick has curled toes and scissor legs. I've fixed curled toes before but never scissor legs. I looked up and something like this came up. Will this fix the legs? Or am I doing something wrong?
