Been boarding for 30 plus years and this year I got 3 Gentemsticks. Can't say it made me a better snowboarder but for some reason I felt like I was riding better!

Been surfing, fishing all my life here and also run whale watching / fishing charters and have always believed the sharks have always been here. But recent increase of social media and camera / video technology may have sparked a wave of visibility. What do you think?

Lots of talk about El Niño so more shark sightings, but have the sharks always been there and we just were not as aware in the past? Having surfed and fished in SoCal my whole life, I feel like they have always been around.
