White dots on surface of ocean out at sea

Not sure where to ask this. I’m on a cruise ship in the pacific far away from shore— no land in any direction that I can see. I think we’re somewhere off the coast of Oregon. There are these white dots floating around on the ocean surface. I don’t think they’re coming from the ship because I can see some that are way far out from the ship— plus, I’m sitting pretty far forward on the ship, and I don’t think they’d dump anything off the front of the ship.

These white dots are mostly asymmetrical as far as I can tell, and there’s LOTS of them, far out in every direction I can see. I can’t really tell how big they are— I’m sitting on an upper deck. I’m guessing they’re bigger than they look.

What are these things?

Help IDing fish from sketch [Punta Cana]

Went snorkeling today off Punta Cana and my partner is going crazy trying to ID a fish they saw and I missed. Looking at rainbow parrotfish and spotted trunkfish they say “close” but “not quite”

Here is the sketch they made.

Things they say about the fish:

-brown all over
-very symmetrical pattern, honeycomb shape
-various shades of brown across body
-very rectangular
-had snoot shape between rounded and pointed

Would love some more opinions on the ID if possible, please!!

Weird red fish caught by bird

Hey guys. A friend of mine took this picture of a bird having with this strange red fish inn it’s mouth. The photo was taken in the Faro islands. On the south most island called Suðuroy. Has anyone ever seen something like this?

What is this fish seen in the PNW?

Sorry for the bad pictures but these fish were terrible at posing. There is a whole school of them and they appear to be spawning.

Edit. These fish have been positively identified. They are suckers! Thank you everybody

Fish I had in an aquarium a few years ago, not sure what it was.

Rehomed shortly after this video due to being highly aggressive. Was a super cool fish and now that I've got more space and an empty tank, figured it might be cool to get another. Anyone have any idea what it was?

Edit: I've added an additional comment with a picture from when I first got the fish before it developed more, may prove useful. Thanks again everyone!

Is this a Texas Cichlid?

Seen under a bridge in downtown Austin, Tx. About the size of a large panfish. Fairly round head.

I’ve never seen anything like it, looks more like a fish from an aquarium than any native freshwater fish I’ve seen in Texas.

Thanks in advance :)

Small fish found in creek-Denver Colorado.

Has a single spine with the top fin. When resting the side fins sort of stick out.

Catfish ID: Channel or White?

Thank you for any thoughts you have on this!

I caught this Catfish in Central NY today. I initially thought I had another Channel Cat, but now think I may have caught a White Catfish. If it is, it would’ve made a long journey through the canal system from the Hudson to the Seneca River/Onondaga Lake watershed. Is this just an old Channel or could it be a stray old White Catfish? Poor fish had a wound too (maybe a bird?).

Obviously I’m bias and hope for it to be a “rarer” catch- but I’ll still be happy either way😂 I counted 21 Anal Fin rays (but I could be mistaken). The tail is forked but also rounded. I also see “blue” in the eyes. I don’t see any white barbels in my photos. What do you think it is?
