Help with the pops and crackles
Hey all. I'm progressing well after completing my taper about 7 weeks ago. Primary lingering symptoms are tremors and spasms, tinging/buzzing in the legs and feet, muscle tightness in the jaw, and spasms around the back of the head and in the ears. Nothing too severe, but the ear crackles and thumping are quite distracting.
I tend to get them worst when I'm looking at screens and they can really build up intensity during the day when I'm at work. Although I'm not clenching, the muscles around my jaw will also start to hurt with a lot of computer use. At this point the jaw and ear stuff seems to be increasing rather than moderating.
Does anyone have any tips that have helped with the ear spasms and/or jaw tightness? Preferably not prescribed muscle relaxants (as this is what got me into this mess in the first place). Maybe exercises, stretches, natural products or something else?
If you have experienced these withdrawal symptoms during recovery, so reassurance that they have eventually passed would also be nice 🙂
