I recently found out the hard way that Shokz does not offer any repair services for their headsets. They confirmed via support that due to 'technical complexity,' they only offer replacements.

This means that no matter how much you pay, you are essentially buying a 2-year subscription to a headset. Once that's over, any small battery or wire issue turns the device into a paperweight. For a product marketed toward an active lifestyle, it’s frustrating that they haven't designed a way to service them. If you care about sustainability or long-term value, think twice before buying.

Just got my Openfit Air

So, I've been holding off for a while for a lower price on the Openfit 2+ because it supposedly has so much better sound quality than the Openfit Air. So I had never tried the Air and always thought the sound quality was sub-par.

So that mothers day special had the Air for $115 CAD so I thought "Screw it" and took a leap of faith and bought 2. Black for me and Pink for the wife.

OMFG I should have bought these ages ago

  1. The fit is perfect. They are so light and secure I truly can't feel them when I'm wearing them.

  2. Sound quality. Maybe I have different standards than others, but the quality blew me away. It's way better than my Openrun Pros and far better than I expected.

My first 2 hours with them and already they are my faves. These are my 4th Shokz

Hi everyone,

I recently bought a pair of Opendots and I’m really impressed with them overall, but I’m experiencing quite a bit of pressure pain on my ears from the clip. I’m interested to know whether others have had the same problem. Did the discomfort improve over time as your ears adjusted, or did it stay the same?

Thanks in advance for any insight.

In case its useful to anybody deciding what earphone sot get:

As someone with small and sensitive ears, I always used the big over the head headphones, but they always caused me headaches.

A few years back I bought my first pair of Shokz and I felt it was revolutionary, having a way to listen to music with a small device that doesn't go inside of my ear?! It sounded amazing!

Now a few years have passed, even though I loved my first shokz, i could only use them to listen to music, since my parent would complain of the muffled sound when i would talk with them over the phone using those.

But now with the OpenFit Pro's I feel i can do anything, i use them for exercising, listening to music, podcast AND talking by the phone.

I even use them with my husband while we walk through the streets, each one with an earbud so we can listen to the same music together.

Overall for me its 10 starts out of 10.

Note: sorry if there are some language inconsistencies, I'm not from an English speaking country although i do make the effort :)

Hey all. I've used a pair of open runs for a while now and picked up a pair of open run pro 2s recently. I find information online that you can set the timeout/disconnection period in the Shokz app, but I'm not seeing that option. Is this something that has been removed from the app or is it region specific? The major annoyance with the Shokz products that I have used is that they never seem to disconnect - which leaves me answering phone calls then struggling to switch audio to the phone, and faster battery depletion than I'd like.
