Is Bolivia or Paraguay more corrupt

Hi, Bolivia and Paraguay seem similar in that they are both landlocked countries in South America and are less prosperous than their neighbours. Just curious, is Bolivia's or Paraguay's bureaucracy more corrupt (in terms of doing shady stuff or deliberately being inefficient in the hopes of eliciting bribes)? Thanks!

Kok Tobe downhill coaster

Hi, regarding the captioned coaster:

  1. Can the next person start the ride before the previous person completes their ride entirely? If not, how do they avoid a situation where the next person hits the previous person, given each person can control their speed (so the next person may be much faster than the previous person)?

  2. If not, does that mean the queues are very long?

  3. What are its opening hours?

  4. After you slide down, does it bring you back up, or are you gone from the hill for good?

Thanks!

How to get 2GIS map to show place names in English

Hi, even after I have selected English as my language on 2GIS map, most of the place names are still displayed in Russian. Is there a way to get those to show up in English? Thanks!

Islamic Civilization Center - independence and booking

Hi,

  1. Are tickets to Islamic Civilization Center only released one week before the date of visit?

  2. I heard the guide will force you to finish everything in 2 hours which is too rushed. Can you just ignore the guide and wander off on your own, so as to experience the exhibition more fully?

Thanks!

Is there much to do at Makhdumi Azam Masjid

Yo, respect to Makhdumi Azam for being a cool historical figure, and I am sure Makhdumi Azam Masjid/Mausoleum is a significant historical site, but is there much to do at Makhdumi Azam Masjid for the average tourist? How high should it be on the Samarkand bucket list? Thanks!

Are e-SIMs good

Hi, I am thinking of buying an e-SIM ahead of going to Uzbekistan so that I don't have to waste time buying a SIM card when I get there. But I also heard that e-SIMS have worse coverage than physical SIMs in Uzbekistan. Is this true? Thanks!

Questions about Albanian residency by property ownership

Hi,

  1. Do I need to visit Albania to finalise my application and get approved?

  2. Assuming I can get approved without ever visiting Albania, can I also maintain and renew the residency without ever visiting Albania?

Thanks!

Kenya's role in Middle East/Horn of Africa blocs

Yo, so UAE, Israel, Ethiopia and Somaliland are forming a new bloc, right? With Saudi, Egypt, Turkey and Somalia on the other side, kind of. Question is, where does Kenya come in? I thought it has good relations with the US (whereas Ethiopia is more pro-China), so Kenya should be on UAE's team, but then it would be on the same side as Ethiopia, its long-time rival, leading to awkwardness? Thanks.

Can you live like a king in poor country?

Hi, if a rich guy goes somewhere like Benin, builds a luxurious mansion, employs tons of people to work for him, and sources food and stuff internationally, will he have a higher quality of life than a random 300-pound dude drinking beer on his couch in Oklahoma? Or will his quality of life still be shit because it will all be dirt road outside of his little paved zone?

In other words, is the maximum quality of life in a dirt poor country higher than the median quality of life in a rich country?

Hi,

  1. What is the best way to go from Kuala Lumpur city centre to Putra Mosque? If I go by train, after getting off at Putrajaya & Cyberjaya, it is still some distance from the mosque, right?

  2. If I take the train, can I tap on and tap off using credit card?

  3. More generally, can I tap on and tap off using credit card on public transport in and around Kuala Lumpur?

Thanks!

Hi, what are the two commercial airports in the world that take the most number of flights to go from one to the other? I think answer probably involves Tuvalu as one of the endpoints, but not sure about the other. Thanks!

Yo, I heard there is a 48-hour ticket for entering many of the structures in Khiva old town. Can the ticket only be bought at West Gate, or can it also be bought at the individual ticketed buildings? Just want to avoid a situation where I try to enter a building and get sent all the way back to the West Gate to buy the ticket. Thanks!

Hi, people say Khiva was "rediscovered" as a city that preserves the settings of the old days. What I don't understand is, how can a whole city be "lost" and then "rediscovered"? It's not like a guy hiding in the closet. The city is just sitting right there the whole time. You mean people somehow forgot about it for a while, and then all of a sudden someone remembered this city and started reminding others about it? Thanks.
