Solid wood?

This is a marketplace listing so I apologize if the pictures are poor, but from what you can see, does this look like solid wood? Want to know before I purchase because I’m looking for something to refinish/restore as my first project

Hair salons

Are there any good hair salons in Exton? Preferably ones that aren’t outrageously priced. Every single salon I’ve looked up between west Chester and Exton are $200 + for a trim and highlights. I also have very thin/fine hair. I refuse to pay that much for something I know takes less than an hour for me. I’ve been to wild honey before and although she did a good job it was 250 (with tip) for a cut and single process and my hair didn’t look that much different.

What is this?

I am a beginner and recently found interest in furniture refinishing/restoration. I haven’t had a project yet as I’m looking for something small for my first. However, I recently bought this Bassett piece off Facebook marketplace for $35. I love it as it is so I probably won’t touch it at all. But I am wondering if this would even be a candidate for staining. I am trying to apply the tips and tricks I learned for determining if it’s solid, veneer or laminate but it’s kinda hard lol 😅 what do you think this is?
I think the top is laminate or maybe veneer however I do think the drawers are solid wood. I could be way off

Please only for people who did CIO on 1 year olds. I know people have mixed opinions on CIO method. However, my little one gets extremely upset when we do check ins. When she sees me at all during bedtime she gets really upset because she wants me to pick her up and I won’t. She’s been sleeping in our bed for months and wakes me up 3-4 times a night. None of us are getting any good sleep. I’m at my wits end and I’m going to try the cry it out method. It’ll break my heart, but we need a change.
How long did it take for cry it out to start making an improvement in their sleep habits? What was your experience? How did you do it? At what point does the crying become a point of concern?
