I’m seeking talented artists skilled at bringing characters to life from written descriptions. The project includes designing a full turnaround and detailed character reference sheets for my original superhero character.
The protagonist is a 16-year-old Korean boy from modern-day Busan. He wields the mystical power of the Blue Tiger spirit, enabling him to channel potent chi (gi) energy through his hands and feet. This grants him the ability to unleash powerful martial arts attacks reminiscent of Iron Fist.
Although highly intelligent, compassionate, and quick-witted, he faces the constant challenge of balancing everyday teenage life with the immense responsibility of being a guardian warrior. Courageous and protective by nature, he can be reckless and impulsive—often pushing his limits to protect innocent people. His story is a journey of self-discovery, learning responsibility, and seeking harmony between Korea’s deep spiritual traditions and contemporary youth culture.
In his superhero form, he fights with a distinctive martial arts style inspired by Korean arts such as Hapkido and Taekkyeon, enhanced with acrobatics and chi-powered techniques. He can assume different “Aspect Forms”: Moonlight (stealth), Thunder (power), and Stone (defense). His abilities include generating chi shockwaves, blink-dash movement, empathic sensing, and unleashing the fearsome Blue Tiger’s Roar.
Visually, he blends cutting-edge street fashion and tech elements with motifs from Korean mysticism—resulting in a striking, culturally-rooted, and contemporary aesthetic.
