I did the ancestry dna test a few months ago and I can’t really understand my results.
I’m of ashknazi and Slavic descent. My mom is Slavic, from Russia and my dad is Ashkenazi from Ukraine.
My Slavic side is what I’m confused about, my family were centuries in Russia and Ukraine from what I know, I found documents in my research and there are no signs of polish surnames even.
My dna test says I’m mostly “Northeastern polish” and then some west Ukraine and Russia.
But how come? Could they be reading my dna wrong?
