FBI continues search for children
Mentioned in an earlier thread here
Kaylah Hunter was 6 years old, and her baby brother, Kristian Justice was 8 months old when they and their mother, Alicia Fox, were reported missing.
At the end of May, Kaylah was excited about Kindergarten graduation, and her doting mother, Alicia, bought her a tiny cap and gown for the event. Oddly enough, they didn't show up for "commencement". Alicia's family and Kaylah's father started searching for them.
They found Alicia's home empty, but reeking of bleach and cleaners.
The family dog was gone. (Found later, dumped in Detroit, >!suffering signs of abuse)!<
Alicia's body was found on June 9, 2014, in an abandoned building in Detroit. (source) There was a black trash bag over her head, and it looked like someone had attempted to dismember the body.
Alicia's husband, Erin Justice (father of Kristian), was arrested in Atlanta, Georgia, and charged with first-degree murder in Alicia's case on June 11.
Erin confessed to killing Fox and pleaded guilty to second-degree murder.
On Sept. 22, 2015, Justice was sentenced to 45-80 years in prison. He is currently still incarcerated.
“Erin Justice was sentenced to 80 years plus, and he hardly said a word,” grandmother Travea Fox told Local 4. “He’s just hush mouth. He won’t say anything.”
The children are still missing. It's hoped that they are still out there somewhere.
It should be noted that while all of Alicia's belongings were dumped, the kids' items (car seat, stroller, etc) were never found.
Is it possible the children are still out there?
