Picture this, it's late October, you hear the howl of a strong wind outside, the old Victorian farmhouse creaks and groans with every gust, a slight draft flows through the window frame. The gentle rustle of the leaves can be heard as they blow about outside. The smell of freshly baked apple pie makes the home feel alive, the fire crackles in the hearth, the faint orange glow basks the walls. Steam rises from the old whistle kettle as your tea steeps, you hear a mysterious Great Horned Owl, it's call echoes in the distant forest. You prepare to nestle in close to the warm fire. Ahh. This is a home. Cozy season has arrived. 🍂 The best season for snuggling up and being cozy. Owls are my favorite bird. 🦉

I'm pretty cozy as I write this, sipping on some hot tea as it rains outside, laying in my bed and listening to an album by a psych/folk rock band ILL Wind which is called "Flashes" from 1968, while my favorite candle burns slowly.

My dream one day is to have a beautiful old farmhouse with a wrap around porch and an acre or two of farmland to really enjoy nature, and possibly have a small homestead and garden. The house must have a fireplace or wood burning stove installed. 😂

Some of my interests are photography, nature walks, bird photography and wildlife, camping, cooking and baking, listening to music, the outdoors, relaxing and being comfy, aviation and flight simulation, technical stuff, fixing things and being handy, candles and incense, and animals. My favorite season is the Autumn and I absolutely can't wait for it. I love being outside in Autumn, and my favorite place to go then is right outside of Peoria, IL called Wildlife Prairie Park. I like to stay in the cabin there and enjoy being in nature. I'm a very peaceful person and quite the homebody. Lately I've really been enjoying woodwick candles because of their crackle. When I'm not enjoying music or in nature, my biggest passion is probably photography. I have a couple of Nikon DSLRs and I really enjoy photographing so many things, especially birds and wildlife.

I love to listen to all types of music, well known and obscure. From the 60s, 70s, 80s, and present. There's a few albums on my profile. Right now the Cure is my favorite band but I like so much music. I've been into a lot of late 60s and early 70s bands, and even some folk rock with female singers. I love that kind of stuff.
