Thank you to everyone who reported the AOK posts about behavioural therapy being used to treat ME symptoms.

It seems the AOK has now taken down all the posts so far as I can tell? I didn't follow what their responses were to complaints in the comments, but they seem to have claimed their source of information was Fatigatio e.V. Fatigatio have now made a statement with a correction which I'm sharing above (translation in second two pics).

So glad this has been removed & corrected. Grateful to everyone who reported it 🙏

If there's a local event/ protest etc near you for ME Awareness Day, sharing info about it in your local area/ city subreddit is a one way to let people know about it even if you're stuck in bed.

TLDR: raising awareness with banners to hang up at home.

I've just seen that Bou66le on Instagram (link below) has alread had a few hundred banners made to distribute throught Germany, Austria & Switzerland.

The idea is that people can hang these banners from their windows and balconies to raise awareness and make people with ME less invisible in our communities.

He's looking for anyone who is able to sponsor even just one or two banners, in order to be able to distribute as many as possible before the protests for ME day in may (they will be distributed at protest locations) and needs to send out the order today.

I think a lot of us feel really invisible and frustrated about this, so I'm really happy to see this type of campaigning & am sponsoring some banners. If anyone else wants to sponsor a banner or two at short notice, Bou66le was asking people to contact him directly on Instagram.
