Guys,

I wanna ask something.

I’m originally from Kerala, and back there, me and my friends barely text on WhatsApp. We literally communicate only through voice notes..(We basically live on WhatsApp voice notes. It’s like the official Malayali way of communicating 😂)

But since moving to Chennai, absolutely everyone here prefers to text instead. Honestly, having to actually type out full conversations feels like a whole new concept to me

Guys, I took leave yesterday and was all alone, so I booked a cab and went on a long drive to OMR..

Watched 2 movies solo, controlled my temptation to not buy popcorn or movie snacks…only to end up getting a combo for the 2nd movie 😭

The weather was so pleasant yesterday too. Ate some donuts cuz they’re my fav, bought a book to read, and even went alone to Barbecue Nation 😂

The max number of movies I’ve watched alone in a single day is 3 tho ! What about you guys?

And have any of y’all eaten alone at a buffet restaurant before??

Guys whenever I decide to order food from Swiggy or any other app, I just keep repeating the same places and food items 😭

Mostly McDonald’s, Box8, Domino’s, some healthy bowls, Zaitoon, Krispy Kreme and stuff. Rarely I try something different like sushi or whatever.

But the funny thing is, even after scrolling for like 20 mins and checking so many places, I still go back and order the same food again 💀

Could y’all recommend some nice places in Chennai that you order from frequently?

Something affordable, tasty, reliable, and preferably something that won’t give me food poisoning 😭

It’s almost 2 a.m. and I’m fully in my element right now ✨

I’m also reading Never Lie by Freida McFadden and doing some sketches while listening to music.

The only downside? The mosquitoes are absolutely relentless tonight.

Does anyone else have a weirdly specific "think space" like this, or am I the only one who likes sitting on water tanks at ungodly hours? Let me know what you guys are up to!

why are girls with septum piercings and tattoos always judged like they’ve got that “I can ruin your life” energy 😭

It’s honestly so weird how people see a tiny piece of jewellery or a bit of ink and instantly decide you’ve got a bad attitude, you’re “dangerous,” emotionally unavailable, or whatever random story they build in their heads… when most of us are literally just existing and trying to look cute.

Like it’s never that deep. I genuinely don’t understand where this unnecessary hate even comes from. And I’ve literally heard things like “Mallu ponunganaale thimiru dhaan irupaanga pola” just because I wore a septum ring. One piercing… or a small tattoo… and suddenly my entire personality is decided for me 💀 the logic is actually exhausting.

I used to wear a septum too before switching to nose rings, and the difference in how people treated me was honestly so obvious.

Why do people do this though? Why is a small style choice treated like a personality announcement?

Curious to know if others have experienced this too, especially girls. Do people treat you differently based on your piercings, tattoos, or how you dress?

Like people instantly assume they have attitude problems, are dangerous, emotionally unavailable, arrogant and all that, when most of them are literally just existing, minding their own business and looking pretty.

Especially here in Chennai, people assume SO much over one tiny piercing. I’ve genuinely heard comments like “Mallu ponunganaale thimiru dhaan irupaanga pola” just because I wear a nose ring. Like how does one piercing suddenly decide someone’s entire personality for them 💀

And honestly, why do some Tamil people have this weird unnecessary hate or stereotypes towards Kerala girls anyway? The assumptions are actually exhausting.
