What's your favorite movie?
If you like Don't Look Up you'll love this masterpiece
What's that video?
A long time ago, I remember watching this video on YouTube. It's Halloween at Disneyland Paris (I think), and Goofy is dancing on stage to "Give it 2 Me" by Madonna. He seems to be possessed by the music. At the end he says: "You were right, on Halloween, anything is possible."
I can't find that video now. Anybody knows which one I'm talking about?
Thoughts on John Henry?
10/10 Seriously slept on, always makes me smile
Has anyone else seen this guy always holding a sign saying "Honk for Jesus"? Does anyone know that guy?
Obviously he looks good, but the look is kinda boring. With that being said, I don't believe it was his intention to be one of the celebrities that stands out on the carpet. He's never seemed like that kind of person to me, just focusing on his job and not on himself.

Pros:
The acting was superb, especially Jaafar and Colman.
The singing and dancing from Jaafar and Juliano Krue Valdi was on point. One of my favorite scenes is Michael teaching the gangsters how to dance. It's so wholesome to see how much they idolize and respect him. "My n***a."
The direction was nice (lighting, angles, sound), and I love that they shot everything on location.
Cons:
The movie needs a director's cut. More time should have been focused on Michael's complex persona. While he wasn't evil like his father, he wasn't always a squeaky clean goody-two-shoes. There are a few parts where he shows his businessman side, for example when he forces Walter Yetnikoff to make MTV play his videos. We could have used more scenes like that to balance everything out.
While I can respect Janet's decision for choosing not to be included in the film, it still felt like a huge piece from the movie was missing. Michael and Janet were the pillars of the Jackson family's success. She had a commanding pressence even as a little girl. "I'm Janet Jackson, and nothing goes unless I say so."
As I said before, the movie should have beeb shot as a whimsical jukebox musical like Rocketman. I believe it would have fit Michael's persona better than just a one-note musical biopic.
Final thoughts:
I didn't hate this movie nearly as much as MJ the Musical. Review here: https://www.reddit.com/r/MichaelJackson/s/hZldmMo3Kc
Also, the RT rating is way too low. But that doesn't matter because the audience score is what truly matters. Whether bad or good, the success of a movie is defined by the numbers at the box office, not critic's reviews.
He was born to play him. He was actually terrifying.

Not including the Mickey Mouse or Winnie the Pooh movies
I've written lots of lyrics, and I can sing, but I don't play any instruments. Any musician in need of a lyricist, please comment below.
People keep saying they shouldn't have left out the allegations in the movie, but the movie ends during the Bad Tour, and they didn't happen yet. Do you guys think they'll have the balls to show them in Part 2? Whether or not they really happened, they changed his life until his death, and it wouldn't be a Michael Jackson movie without them.
