How many people here has tried Esoteric ebb?
Even if you don't think it's a good DE (spiritual) successor, I think it's still a pretty great game so I like to talk about it.

I just thought while playing that a crossover (fan work) with EE would be fun.
Ever-glad mentioned one as kind of rival so I wondered if it's possible to find it, or if it's just flavor, I think I had been to basically all the areas in the game except the final one at the gate without an encounter with it.
I don't know if anyone here is familiar with the manga (really good I recommend checking it out if you haven't), but i would really like to see some fan work about it, dunmeshi characters in the ebb or vice versa. I think there would be a lot of fun interactions either way, and fun ways to adapt the characters in either world. If you like the idea tell me what you think, what you would like to see in something like that.
Not only the ones that give you feats, I seems to have missed 3 quests, I don't care about completing them all but I like to know which one are missing, if i can do them now or in another playthrough.
It's the one about getting a date, I heard you can get one with a couple characters, I asked Enttir, and she say yes to it after the election. But it seems that I got stuck on going after Mongore (the bugbear warrior on the roots), which seems to requires fighting many things, (I think I did a squeleton, a roper and the troll) and i don't know how to progress.
The Crow guy told me there was one but it's been so long since the conversation that I forgotten where he says it was and now I can't find it.
I see around that there should an encounter with a skeleton, that has some value in defeating but I been walking around the city below, find plenty of stuff, but not that one, I am looking at the wrong place?
Basically playing as a foundation employee that has been giving an important assignment and while you try to complete it you get to explore a large site with many different characters, each revealing a bit more about the anomalous and the foundation itself, as you build up your research views on the work they do and the anomalous in general through your choices. And possibly becoming anomalous yourself.
(I don't know how many people have played or even know about disco Elysium, but I'd be here all day if I had to explain all of it, so just look it up if you are interested, is a really good game.)
It was in 3D but it looked like they upscaled the pixel art so everything looked like it was made out of cubes and Madeline had a sword for some reason. I also oddly remember that it was completely free. Or that it was free at first and there would be a paid version later.
I am generally not very good at these deck building rougelike, but STS in particular I can't get in the headspace for it I think. I sucked at the first one and I suck just as much at the sequel. I think I should just give up on them but I figure I ask for some advice first.
Edit: Thanks you all for taking time to try to help. But I sadly feel that I might be just too dumb to play this game. I think I'm just not going to do it anymore. All the things I have to constantly keep in mind are just, too overwhelming. You probably just think I'm being lazy and refuse to learn, and i don't think that's untrue. But sometimes you just gotta realize your limitations. Hope you all have a good time.
Edit 2: Sorry ignore that, I was just having a depressive episode. I will try to keep your advice in mind, and give it another honest try. Maybe the game really isn't for me but I want to fell that at least I made the attend to improve.
