Hey, I was cleaning my turntable and scrubbing under the needle when I hit it. Now, I'm not sure if it's broken. I don't want to ruin my records.

if so is it possible to replace it on the sony turntables or even upgradeble?

Hey everyone,

I got into hi-fi about 1.5 years ago, and since then I’ve been slowly putting together my current setup.

Right now I’m running:

• Yamaha AX-496 RDS amplifier
• Dali Ikon 5 MK1 speakers
• Canton AS 105 SC subwoofer
• Audio Technica EQ (I have it, but I don’t really use it most of the time, it’s just cool to have)
• Sony PS-LX310BT turntable

Overall I’m pretty happy with the sound, but I’m wondering if I’m missing out on anything or if there are obvious weak points in the chain. Also is there anything i should position better or change in my room.

Also, I’m not 100% sure if my sub is set up optimally, what crossover frequency would you recommend for this kind of setup?
