What is the biggest swing and a miss a horror movie has taken?

I mean what twist/turn does a horror movie take that feels ambitious but ultimately misses wildly in the movie/universe

Examples are Halloween making Michael’s power be from a cult, split when he ACTUALLY gains super powers, for me the reveal in US.

What swings in movies just didn’t hit for you?

Final Fantasy 15 is a stonewall banger

I played the vanilla and had a whale of a time. I understood the story perfectly fine? Don’t get the complaints about confusion etc?

Gameplay great fun, never super difficult but always fun. Exploration super fun, fishing is an all timer mini game. Monster hunt super fun.

The main party is arguably the most likeable in the whole series. Four friends who all feel real. Long drives with the boys was fun.

I played this after 16 (which I found super boring) so I thought 15 would have the same style, but my goodness 15 is amazing fun. Couldn’t believe the bad reviews when I came to Reddit after

Finding a wife, buying a house and having a good job is still the best way to complete life

The oldest formula for happiness in the book still works. Once you have your wife house and job. You worry so little about everything that you can’t not be happy.

Accept the system that you have a 30 year mortgage, accept that you won’t find a wife unless you’re kind and take care of yourself. Then accept you’re likely not to get a good job without a degree or trade school.

Do the basics and you’ll be happy!

Adrienne Wallace and her performative nonsense with Carlow college

The average age of people at her event looked to be about 75+ most of them probably the immensely overpaid lecturers who’ve been in Carlow college decades

Adrienne Wallace knows quite literally nothing will happen and is just trying to carry favour

She’s also aligned herself with that lunatic from AAC so clearly targeting the grey vote

If you believe in ghosts I will judge your intelligence

There are so many rational adults with important jobs who believe in ghosts.

Like literal spirits and magic, there’s no way you genuinely believe in ghosts. Also I don’t necessarily mean religion or religious beliefs. I mean like someone has died and an energy is left etc

Throwback classic: The Termjnal

A feel good classic. Superbly directed and acted.

Not everything needs to be a five star Oscar winner. Sometimes a small film about a man in an airport with feed good vibes is enough!

I judge parents as bad for letting their kids under 5 use iPads

Especially in public, just don’t give them the iPad and they won’t miss it.

You’re basically hypnotising the children to eat. It’s borderline cruel, iPad time is insane and parents proudly hand one to their kids in public just to get them to shut up

What are we doing

His character is so inconsistent, one minute he’s Romans right hand man again, then he’s part of the usos, then he’s back to main event Jey uso, then the yeet nonsense starts again.

He was so tired from yeeting it was ridiculous

One of the worst in recent memory

In kayfabe why is every wrestler not constantly attacking the WWE champion

We’ve often seen someone layout a champion then declare they want a title match. Why doesn’t every active superstar always try go for the gold?

Does anyone else get the vibe that small time solar panel companies aren’t legitimate?

There’s a bang of tanning salon and candy cloud vape shops off them or am I mad?

Which side is better throughout history, wrestlers with short hair or wrestlers with long hair

If you could start a promotion but only pick short haired wrestlers or long haired throughout history who would you pick

Life in the western world is amazing

Access to education then good jobs which make pretty easy to have good money.

The level of affordable technology is incredible, phones, tv, PlayStations, cars, makes life extremely easy.

Access to travel and entertainment, I really don’t get what most people complain about.

Do most people here even like Dan Brown?

Firstly I adore the landgon series. Don’t think there’s a bad one in the bunch and two GREAT ones.

All I see is peoples saying how bad everything bad da Vinci code is.

The GAA game should not be supported

I bought the game to try and support Irish devs etc so please don’t argue that I don’t support

However this isn’t good enough to support, this cannot be the representation of Irish gaming. It genuinely has potential to be the worst sports game ever. Graphically and functionally it is ABYSMAL.

It seriously isn’t good enough, even for an indie. game.
