Does anyone to transferred to UNC as a junior pre-med have any experiences or advice to share with someone who wants to transfer?
Did it affect your ability to get leadership positions/ opportunities, were you able to transition easily to the class rigor, do you have any advice for what you wish you did before transferring (ie. classes to take at less rigorous institution, clubs to join, etc). Thanks!
As the title says, my friend group will all be going to the same (high ranked) university next year while I will be the only one going to a nearby state school. I feel a mix of emotions; I’m so happy for them, but I can’t help but be scared that I’ll be left out of their lunch dates, gamedays, and memories. I also just feel academically inferior and don’t know why I’m the only one who didn’t get accepted. I have no super close friends for next year.
I am gonna try to transfer to their university next year since it is good for my career path anyways. If anyone has any advice on how to feel better or anything it would mean a lot.
