I really get annoyed at unsolicited religious marketing because if a religion is actively trying to target people to convert it is failing as a religion.
Religion does have its place...but it shouldn't be pushed as the norm...it should be discoverable but not pushed.
Also the fact that people use religion as a justification for violence and discrimination is really what pushed me away from it.
I personally use ai for recreational and creative purposes, like getting ideas out of my head or gaining new ideas...its nice to just spout out what is in your head. I feel like the reason people hate it is because its misused. It has its place as a tool, not as a replacement for critical thinking.
Every tool has its purpose, ai is, once again, just a tool. every tool can be misused for harm, the internet, cars, computers, hammers, even education. Everything has a balance though, and there will always be ways to use something wrong, ai at the moment is currently mostly being used for the wrong purpose.
Here is a question, if we have a tool to make our lifes easier why not use it? unless that use is actively harmful to you (as a complete replacement for critical thinking...like you need ai to think) or someone else (replacing a job with ai), or is being used to completly replace creativity, then why not use it?
