This was such a good episode I didn’t care too much about the Waldo basketball plot but I did enjoy the scene of Laura telling her dad she didnt want to go to Harvard even though she did. Around season 6 I think so many of the stories are getting silly it’s good to see a heartfelt one again ( I’m currently binging the series from start to finish )
Hey Reddit question or tips needed. I am a male and I have women who are strictly platonic as friends within my different friend groups . I even have a best friend who is a woman. I tend to run into issues where anyone I date has issues with my female friendships. What are some good ways to introduce the fact that I have female friends ? The obvious one is introducing people I date to my friend group but any other ways to approach the topic to a new person would be helpful
Typically I start off with “ would you say you’re the jealous type?…. I have women who are my friends is that ok?” Most times I get a that’s fine or some will address they have issues and it doesn’t go much further any other ideas would be cool

In the episode where Laura starts taking diet pills there are these weird angle shots where Laura sits with her back to the camera and then it flashes to her talking in a weird back ground lighted area that looks like it’s a different area
Is there a reason or some hidden lore on why they shot the scene that way ? It was kinda jarring

I really hate seeing people in comments on things like tik tok or facebook say Laura was a bad friend to Steve … they really haven’t watched the show … I had a similar post to this before but it still just irks me rewatching this and see Laura defend Steve over n over and get online to see “ SHe WAs mEAn”
