Pull on Wellington

I love my pull on Wellington (814-4208) but the color is different and it drives me crazy. I wear these as off work boots so it's taking longer for the colors to even out and match, if they ever will. I've had them since early March and wanted to share my frustration and get free, useless internet points. 😂🤘🥾🥾 The boots are great if you like Thorogoods, some people don't and that's just too bad.

Daily drove these cobras as an appliance repair technician for many years. Now I'm a union laborer and my tool bag has more shovels than pliers so they don't get much use anymore. I will say though that if I have a job to do, I know I can rely on my knipex to get the job done.

Cleaned my boots up and then went to work and this happened after the first shift. 😭😭😭😂

Overdue maintenance on my Redwing 10877. Took advantage of the weekend and cleaned on Friday night with Fiebings saddle soap and let dry 24 hours then used Obenaufs LP and again let set 24 hours. It's time for a resole because sometimes I walk lazy and get uneven wear on my boots. I'm satisfied with the results and will get some more life out them. I use these boots in rotation with 8" Thorogood 1957 and 8" Nicks Builder Pro. I do underground utilities and these boots are the lightest of the 3 but are not very water resistant at all as the stitching between the welt and upper has open holes. I've had these boots now for just over 1year and would recommend them for known dry environments. Make sure you buy them true to size for an insert to fit because there is nothing more than a leather foot bed. Most of my other boots have a leather foot bed with no problems but these were uncomfortable without an insert.
