I see most other people working in my company talking advanced stuff about AI. The project I work for is exceptionally mediocre. There is no learning. There is just slogging with manual work. I spend time learning AI and have done well. But that eats into my personal time.

How do other professionals deal with this in the middle of their career?

My wife cooks a subji and 12 chapatis in the afternoon. 6 chapatis are consumed in the afternoon by the three members of the house. 6 are consumed at night. The subji is the same.

There are appliances for washing, doing the dishes and cleaning the floor automatically.

I have to work for 12 to 14 hours a day so unable to help her. I would like to know whether it is fair on my part to make her cook under such circumstances.

Delhi and WB have seen a change in govt as a result of crime against women. They did not just burn candles and shout slogans. They showed their anger through their vote. But in Goa can you say the same thing?

When my wife and my mom disagree on something and my mom wants her own opinion to be followed, she calls me Baykocha Bail. In Marathi it means Joru ka Gulam. This is with the hope that the taunt will make me take my mom's side.

Does your mother use this Astra?

The COO asked HR to keep the teams motivated. HR started the practice of weekly events. Some silly games are organized during work hours. Participation is mandatory. The work pressure is so high nobody is interested. Everyone wants to finish their work calmly. These events are eating into the productive hours of employees. Attendance is recorded and weekly reports are sent to the COO. People not attending are tortured with hour long lectures and negative points on the Collaboration KRA. Additionally, birthdays are celebrated with company-sponsored cakes. Lot of song and dance is involved and only HR seems to put their hearts into it. Everyone else is only thinking of meeting deadlines and going home to their families.

How does your company make life miserable?

We are three people living in the 3BHK flat. What I get for lunch and dinner is one subzi and two chapatis. This is day after day. For a full hearty meal, I have to go to a restaurant. I cannot hope to get it at home.

As a child I would always get a full meal with rice, dal, subzi, fish, inspite of being a working woman. Those days are now behind me.

What do you get?
