Devin Booker outdone by SGA in show of how a star takes playoff moments over

Excerpt:

“For all the handwringing over his foul-hunting tendencies, Gilgeous-Alexander was breathtaking on Saturday. He scored 42 points. He made 15-of-18 shots. He posted eight assists.

He did everything we hoped Booker would do for the Suns. Instead, it was another underwhelming, underachieving performance from the Suns’ franchise player.

Many felt he would spend a chunk of Game 3 at the foul line following his comments, especially after the NBA rescinded the controversial technical that prompted Booker’s outburst. But Booker didn’t do his part, often choosing to facilitate rather than force the issue at the rim. He finished a -14 for the game, and he must be better than that.”

[Highlight] Arizona Cardinals GM Monti Ossenfort, when asked whether Carson Beck would compete as a rookie for the QB1 position: "We just want to get him in the building and show him where the cafeteria is and the locker room is, get him fitted for his gear, and we’ll go from there."

Carson Beck a gamble choice for Cardinals

Excerpt:

“He’s a big, solid dude. … He looks the part,” LaFleur said Friday. “Natural thrower, he’s tough. I think one of the coolest things about him, especially spending some time with him, he’s been through those big games, but he’s been through some adversity, too. That’s well documented. It’s out there. I think he’s gotten better from it.”

Ossenfort: Jacoby Brissett, Cardinals 'in good spot'

“Both Mike and I have had good dialogue with Jacoby,” general manager Monti Ossenfort said Thursday after the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft.

“Obviously, this is the voluntary portion of everything. We’ll continue to have conversations with Jacoby, but things are in a good spot.”

Jeremiyah Love's heart reportedly fine after abnormal EKG at NFL combine

“A major sigh of relief for Jeremiyah Love, let me explain why,” Rapoport said Thursday on the NFL Network television broadcast. “My understanding is his heart was red-flagged at the combine — an abnormal EKG leaving teams to wonder if he had more risk than other players. They did more tests, they got his scans at Notre Dame. No additional issues, he is fine and now off the board,” he said.

Notre Dame RB Jeremiyah Love's inspirational story featured on ESPN's 'College GameDay'

Excerpt:

Love, one of the top players in the country, struggled with routine and certain social situations while growing up. After his parents took him to the doctor, it was revealed he might have autism spectrum disorder.

"The doctor advised us to just continue to let him be who he is, and learn how to adapt to it and encourage him," said Jason Love, Love's dad. "Don't try to change him, let him change the world."
