Should I upgrade to am5 I play a lot of CPU heavy games currently have an i9-12900k ddr4 board and an rtx 5070 ti ( I already have an oled monitor) was thinking of getting a x870e motherboard and a Ryzen 7 9850x3d is it worth the upgrade? For future proofing also?.

Should I upgrade to am5

I have an i9-12900k and an rtx 5080 all my games run smoothly on 1440p but I have been stuck on am 4 for a very long time and think it's time for an upgrade I already have some ddr5 ram but I was thinking of getting a Ryzen 7 9850x3d and x870e motherboard to pair it u think it's a good idea? considering you know in about 1.5 years down the line we might see am6 platform creeping up?
