Why aren’t people getting the marks they were expecting?

One reason people aren’t getting the marks they expected is because checking on OSM is very different from physical paper checking. Earlier, teachers could properly see what students had written, but on OSM some pages appear blurry and teachers can’t even zoom properly sometimes. If a student has bad handwriting, it becomes even harder to understand their answers
Another thing is that during physical checking, some teachers used to correct small mistakes in MCQs or answers and help students gain a few extra marks. But on OSM, teachers can’t change anything written by the student. CBSE has reportedly told teachers to only give passing marks if the student has written something relevant and is failing. If the student isn’t close to failing, they often don’t get extra consideration
Also, teachers have to check a huge number of papers because they’re paid according to how many they complete. So many don’t spend much time trying to understand badly written answers and just give half marks or low marks quickly
CBSE seriously needs to stop ts because a lot of students are getting compartment or failing even after expecting much higher marks
