Dose someone know if they are going crazy?

I have a lot of physical and mental issues, i know I’m mentally ill, im on a lot of medication for physical health and mental health.
Dose a “crazy” person really understand that they are well, crazy?
I do feel like I loose my mind a lot, and that my emotions are something i cant really control. I can hold normal conversations, although a bit awkward. People have looked at me like im crazy before, and sometimes i do believe i am crazy and that im losing my mind like a mental hospital patient, but idk if im just thinking im crazy when in reality im not. I do have some odd likings, like taxidermy. I have a taxidermy necklace actually and i love it so much!!
Anyways, could i actually understand if im going crazy or im just making this up in my head.
Im horrible at explaining things so i hope you can understand lol
