Hi everyone,
I’m a 26 year old living in Sweden and i’m starting the Political Science courses or Global studies programme at LIU. Due to high living expenses (24k SEK/month), quitting my job isn't an option. I’ll be working Thursday through Sunday (long shifts), leaving me with Tuesday and Wednesday (and maybe Mondays) to focus entirely on uni.
I know it sounds like a nightmare, but I’m 100% committed to making it work.
A few questions:
• How mandatory are the lectures usually at LiU for PolSci? Can I survive on just the literature and recorded material?
• How easy is it to swap seminar groups? I need to be in the Tue/Wed slots to avoid clashing with work.
• For those of you who worked full-time during your Bachelor's – how did you manage the reading load?
