Ideas on how to remove this color? 😅

It was a Sally's Beauty line: Ion inspire by Nature. And before that: Ion Color Brilliance I believe. Both permenant dyes, but there was some other semi-permant reds used before those.

I'm not looking for a miracle because I'm aiming to go to a strawberry blonde, so some red / orange left is okay.

My plan was to go in after with Wella 9NG and 8RG, 2:1 ratio at the ends and more like 1:1 at the roots. 20 vol devoloper. I think I will use the cream dye. I have only used their liquid in the past, not sure yet though.

My original removal plan was to get the Ion hair color remover, but I don't have a Sally's near me and don't wanna pay $30 shipping. 😝 I know if you spend over $50 dollars it's free, but these are only $17 and I don't need anything else.

Any ideas?

My hair is somewhat damaged (dry, split ends, porous) too, so I would like to avoid bleach or harsher treatments. That's why I'm choosing to go to a color still in the red family.
