Im at my wits end with my girl’s sleep and her inability to consistently sleep through the night.
Where I live we need a referral from family doctor to see a pediatrician so I have an appt booked but it’s not until mid June so I’m just coming on here to get some ideas or advice.
She has always been up and down with sleep but we have had periods of great sleep. She was sleep trained around 10 months old and it was a breeze (only one night of 5 min of tears). She is always put in her bed awake and she puts herself to sleep.
But ever since we removed the pacifier a year ago she just won’t consistently sleep through the night. She’s up 1-3 times a night for random reasons. Sometimes she go back to sleep with a quick tuck in but other times she’ll continuously call us in or eventually ask to come to our bed. We never coslept in the past.
We have had a SOLID bedtime routine since 4 months old. She has black out blinds, lots of comforts, potty trained at night, sound machine on low, limited screen time…. She falls asleep fine/independently. She’s up at 6:30am no matter what time she went to bed/night wake ups.
Currently she’s asleep around 8pm.
Help. It’s causing issues with our marriage, our personal mental health and ability to function with constant interrupted sleep. We both work full time.
